The Cardinals would do their best to keep the game close through the first half although the Golden Eagles would take the 51-36 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Cardinals would look for an answer to the Golden Eagles but wouldn't have one as they lose the half 53-37 and the game 104-73, In the losing effort Kevin Tabb would lead the way with 26 points as the Cardinals fall to 2-22 on the season. The Cardinals will finish off their season next weekend at New Paltz and Oneonta. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Hannah Ruberto (30) with the challenged layup over the Brockport State defender for the hoop and haem. It would be the final regular-season home game for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals as they would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles in SUNYAC Women's Basketball action. The game would not start off the greatest for the home Cardinals as the Golden Eagles would jump out to a 14-9 through the first quarter of the game. Then in the second quarter, the Golden Eagles started to pull away with a 21-14 quarter and take a 35-23 lead into the locker room. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Golden Eagles would really start to put the game away with a 13-1 quarter and take a 48-24 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Golden Eagles would put the final touches on the game with an 11-7 quarter and finish off the Cardinals with a 59-31 victory. As the Cardinals would fall to 7-16 on the season and Hope Sullivan would lead the way for the Cardinals with eight points. Gallery

It would be the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Geneseo Knights in Men's SUNYAC Basketball action from the Plattsburgh State Memorial Hall. It would be a tight game throughout with both teams having their chance to breakout but just couldn't and the Knights would have the slim 37-35 lead at the end of the first half. When the teams returned for the second half it would be more of the same although the Knights would just be a little better with a 28-27 half and secure the 65-62 victory. Leading the way in a losing effort for the Cardinals would be Etik Salo with 18 points as they go to 2-20 on the season. Next up for the Cardinals will be a match with the Brockport State Eagles on February 12th. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Mya Smith (11) with the straight-on jumper from the top of the key as part of a three-point night. It would be a matchup at Plattsburgh State's Memorial Hall as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Geneseo State Knights in Women's SUNYAC Basketball action. It would be a low-scoring slow start to the game as the visiting Knights would have the 9-6 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the offensive would start to come and the Cardinals would lead the quarter 13-8 and take the slim 19-17 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter it would be the same the defenses would be on display with the Knights winning the quarter 15-12 and taking the slim 32-31 lead into the final quarter. In that final quarter, the Knights would just shut down the Cardinals with a 13-3 quarter and win the game 45-34. With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 7-15 on the season as Kayla Doddy would lead the way with ten points and they are back in action February 12th against the Brockport State Eagles. Gallery

Once again the Cardinals would be in a fight and it would be tight through the first half and the Cardinals would have a slim 38-37 lead at the break. In the second half, the Cardinals would do their best to pull away but they would come shortly as the Blue Devils would drain a three-pointer at the buzzer and the Cardinals would fall 76-75. The game would start tight in the beginning as the Blue Devils would have a slight 14-13 lead after the first quarter. It would remain tight through the second quarter as the Blue Devils get the quarter 19-15 and lead 33-28 at the half. In the third quarter, the defenses would be on display with a low-scoring 11-8 quarter but would extend their lead to 44-36 as they head into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the Cardinals would have no answer as the Blue Devils win the quarter 12-6 and the game 56-42. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would face off with the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC as they would face off for the second time in a week. It would be a tight game through the first half as both teams would have their chance to break it open but no luck and the Cardinals would have a 37-35 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same as no one could break away and tie for the half at 40 each and the Cardinals would hold on for the 77-75 win. In the winning effort, Erik Salo would lead the way with 23 points as they get their first conference win of the season and go to 2-13 on the season. Gallery
