The game would not start off the greatest though for the home Cardinals as they would be playing catch up with the Saints throughout the half and the Saints would have a 41-33 lead after the first half. When the teams would come back for the second half the Cardinals would try the best to keep the game close as it would be under a five point deficit a few times in the half but that would be closet they could get as the Saints would win the half 36-32 and hold on for the 77-65 win. The game would start off good for the home Cardinals as they would be doubling up the Saints at the end of the first quarter with a 16-8 lead. Then in the second quarter the Saints would come charging back with a 19-10 quarter and have a slim 27-26 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Cardinals would find there shoot again with a 16-12 quarter and take the 42-39 lead into the final quarter. In the final quarter the Saints would find there shoot and have a slightly better quarter at 21-16 which would give the Saints the 60-58 win. In the losing effort a pair of Cardinals would lead all scores with fourteen points for Mya Smith and Hannah Ruberto as they go to 2-2 on the season. Gallery

The game would be tight throughout the first half as the home Cardinals would have a slim 31-29 lead at the end of the half. When the teams came back for the second half the game would remain close as the Cardinals would win the half 45-41 and take the 76-71 victory. It would start off tight but the Cardinals would have the slim lead after the first quarter with a 15-11 quarter. In the second quarter the game would stay the same with the Cardinals winning the quarter by a 16-14 margin and take a 31-25 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Golden Knights would keep up the fight to keep the game close and even cut into the defecit with a 22-18 quarter to 49-47 Cardinals as they head to the last quarter. In that final stanza the game couldn't get any closer as it would be a 12-12 quarter and the Cardinals would hold onto to the 61-59 victory. With the win the Cardinals would get there season started off right as they go to 1-0 and Bri Brousseau would lead the way with a 16 point night as the Golden Knights fall to 0-1 on the season. The Cardinals would do their best to keep the game close through the first half although the Golden Eagles would take the 51-36 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Cardinals would look for an answer to the Golden Eagles but wouldn't have one as they lose the half 53-37 and the game 104-73, In the losing effort Kevin Tabb would lead the way with 26 points as the Cardinals fall to 2-22 on the season.
