The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would be looking to right the ship against the Geneseo State Knights as they come in losing their last two games. Although the game would not start off very well for the Cardinals as would be trailing the Knights 23-2 after the first quarter. The Cardinals would start to get their shot going in the second quarter but it still wouldn't be enough as the Knights have a 28-11 quarter and take a 51-13 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned to the court for the third quarter the teams would be a lot more equal as the Knights would have the slim 16-15 advantage in the quarter and take the 67-28 lead into the 4th quarter. In the fourth, the teams would have their second strings out there in mop-up efforts and the Knights would have the 17-6 edge as they would get the 84-34 victory. It would be a matchup at Plattsburgh State's Memorial Hall as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Geneseo State Knights in Women's SUNYAC Basketball action. It would be a low-scoring slow start to the game as the visiting Knights would have the 9-6 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the offensive would start to come and the Cardinals would lead the quarter 13-8 and take the slim 19-17 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter it would be the same the defenses would be on display with the Knights winning the quarter 15-12 and taking the slim 32-31 lead into the final quarter. In that final quarter, the Knights would just shut down the Cardinals with a 13-3 quarter and win the game 45-34.
