Plattsburgh State's Imani Walcott (23) with the contested shot in close as Geneseo State's Sagie Benedict (24) is all over here. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would be looking to right the ship against the Geneseo State Knights as they come in losing their last two games. Although the game would not start off very well for the Cardinals as would be trailing the Knights 23-2 after the first quarter. The Cardinals would start to get their shot going in the second quarter but it still wouldn't be enough as the Knights have a 28-11 quarter and take a 51-13 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned to the court for the third quarter the teams would be a lot more equal as the Knights would have the slim 16-15 advantage in the quarter and take the 67-28 lead into the 4th quarter. In the fourth, the teams would have their second strings out there in mop-up efforts and the Knights would have the 17-6 edge as they would get the 84-34 victory. In a losing effort for the Cardinals, Izzy Wilbur would lead the way for the Cardinals with 12 points as they go to 6-11 on the season. Gallery
