All five goals scorers would be different from Melissa Sheehan, Baye Falagan, Lizzy Viola, Annie Katonka and Sarah Wolf for the 9-1 victory. The Cardinals would jump out to a big league in the first half and not look back as they would have a 46-28 lead at the break. When the teams came for the second half the Red Dragons would do there best to make a game of it but it wouldn't work. As the Cardinals would win the second half 49-46 and secure the easy 95-74 victory. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would try to cut into the difference but would lose the quarter 17-14 and lose the game 72-57. Then at the 3:40 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would score twice in 20 seconds to make it 3-1 on Jesse Nehr and Rich McCartney's goal. The Blue Devils would score at the 12-minute mark on a penalty shot to cut the lead in half at 3-2. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at the meet, the win would go to Chance Lapier from Ausable Valley. In the third period, the offenses would come out as the teams would combine for seven-goal. The Cardinals would get three from Cole Stallard, Phillip Middleton, and Rich McCartney.
