Plattsburgh State's Jesse Nehr (22) looks to extend the lead on an open net but it goes just wide. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC action in the home finale of the season. The game would be tight throughout and remain scoreless until 11:33 of the second period when the Blue Devils score to take a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would tie the game up with 4 minutes remaining left in the second period on Rich McCartney's goal. Then at the 3:40 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would score twice in 20 seconds to make it 3-1 on Jesse Nehr and Rich McCartney's goal. The Blue Devils would score at the 12-minute mark on a penalty shot to cut the lead in half at 3-2. Then in the closing minute of the game, Aryton Valente would score the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. In the winning effort, Lawson Fenton would make 37 saves as the Cardinals go to 12-11 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Travis Cox (35) takes flight by the defender for the layup and score as part of a 16 point night. It would be a SUNYAC Men's basketball affair at Memorial Hall as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in front of 125 fans. It would be a close game throughout the first half but the Bengals would be able to pull away and take a 49-44 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half the Cardinals would do there best to keep the game close but the Bengals would be just too much as they win the second half 40-38 as the Cardinals would fall short at 89-82. In the losing effort, Erik Salo would lead the way for the Cardinals with 25 points as they fall to 8-13 on the season. Next up for the Cardinals would be a road trip next weekend to Oswego and Cortland. Gallery.

It would be a SUNYAC Men's basketball affair at Memorial Hall as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in front of 125 fans. Plattsburgh State's Nicole Unsworth (20) puts it to the top shelf for one of her two goals on the afternoon. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in NEWHL Women's Hockey action. The two teams would take sometime to feel out each other and with that being said there would be no scoring in the first period. Although that would change in the second period and right off the bat as Sara Krauseneck would score just 22 seconds into the game. Then just over the a minute later the Cardinals would strike again and make it 2-0 on the Nicole Unsworth goal. Then at the 7:02 mark Annie Katonka would strike and make it 3-0 Cardinals. Then in the closing seconds of the second period Taylor Whitney would score and the Cardinals would take a 4-0 lead. In the third period the Bengals didn't have much of a answer as the Cardinals would score twice more from Nicole Unsworth (second of the night) and Tatem Cheney as the Cardinals secure the 6-0 win. In the winning effort Ashley Davis would make 11 saves for the shutout as the Cardinals go to 14-1 on the season. Gallery

In the second period the Cardinals would expand there lead to 4-0 with goals from Charles Barber, Cam Owens and Andrew Pizzo. In the third period the Cardinals would put the game away with three more goals from Rich McCartney, Christian Difelice and Cory Stallard and secure the 7-0 victory. The Cardinals would be able to expand the lead to 2-0 four minutes later on the goal by Rich McCartney. From that point on the Cardinals would go into defensive mode and get the 2-0 win. In the second period the Cardinals would strike for two more coming from Mackenzie Millen and Annie Katonka to make it a 5-0 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add one more in the third period from Moe Tsukimoto to secure the 6-0 victory.
