Girls Varsity Soccer - St. Lawerence Larries vs Chateaugay Bulldogs 09-30-2013 - Complete Game

Chateaugay's Sam Loddell (17) with the header in the defensive zone to stop the Larries attack. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Lawrence in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 10th minute on Brianna Cook's goal. Then in the 20th minute, Danielle Charland would score to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Then just two minutes later Danielle Charland would strike again to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 26th minute, Hannah Cook would get in action with a goal to end the first at 4-0 Bulldogs. In the 47th minute, the Larries would get on the broad to make it 4-1. The Larries would strike again in 70th minute to make it 4-2 Bulldogs. Although in the 72nd minute the Bulldogs would end comeback the Larries had as Rachel Young would score to make it 5-2 Bulldogs. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated on the season at 7-0-1. Peru's Anthony Gallo (10) fights through the arm tackle of Cameron Garceau (1) to reach the endzone for the touchdown. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Peru Indians in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference. The game would be close are the first quarter the teams trading touchdowns but the Indians would miss the extra point giving the Eagles the 7-6 at the end of one. Then in the second quarter, the Indians would get the only score and go for two to take a 14-7 lead into the break. Then the teams would come back for the second half they would be fired up and there would be more hard-hitting. The Indians would outscore the Eagles 22-7 thanks to some favorable officiating. The highlight of the day would come when each team would have a return for touchdown Zane Bazzano for the Indians and Cameron Garceau for the Eagles. With the win, the Indians stay undefeated at 4-0 as they head to Saranac next well the Eagles fall to 2-2 and are on the road at Moriah.

The Bulldogs would need about 90 minutes to take care of the Blue Devils. They would win the match in four games by scores of 25-13,25-17,19-25,25-13. The key to the Bulldogs win would be there great play at the net. With the win the Bulldogs would stay undefeated at 8-0. Gallery

It would be a battle of the two remaining unbeaten teams and it would need all five games to have a winner. The Sandstoners would get the first 25-18. Then in second the Bulldogs would tie it back up with the 25-20 win. The Sandstoners would get the third game 25-16. Then the Bulldogs would put it together in the fourth and fifth with 25-15 and 25-9 wins to win the match. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 5-0. Gallery

Chateaugay's Jordan Martin (7) with the header in attack zone to keep the possession for the Bulldogs. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X action. The game would be a very physical contest with both teams jockeying for position. The Bulldogs would get on the broad first with Jordan Martin's goal in the 11th minute to make it 1-0. The Bulldogs would add another goal in the 36th minute from Chad Slater to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. From there on the Bulldogs hold the lead and get the 2-0 win. Then in the second half, the gates would open as they would add another four goals as the Bulldogs cruised to the 6-0 win. Beekmantown's Tyler Newman (7) with the stiff arm on Plattsburgh's Ryan Durocher (22) as takes it to outside and goes upfield. The Beekmantown Eagles would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the Hornets in week three of the Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference action. The Eagles would take the lead at 2:53 mark of the first quarter on Cameron Garceau's touchdown reception. Then just over two minutes later the Eagles would strike again on Devin Fessette two-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0. Then shortly into the second quarter the Eagles would strike again this time on Justin Stevens two-yard run to make it 20-0 Eagles. The Eagles would strike one more time before the half ended on Devin Fessette second score of the night to make it 27-0 at the half. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same Justin Stevens would get his second touchdown of night six minutes in to make it 34-0. Then just three minutes later the Eagles would strike again with Justin Stevens third touchdown of the night to make it 41-0. The Eagles would end there scoring in the fourth quarter on Tyler Myers's eight-yard run to secure the 48-0 victory. With the win, the Eagles go to 2-1 as the Hornets fall to 0-3 on the season.

Chateaugay's Nick Ashline (20) collides knees with St. Regis Falls Saints Brandon Voltra (12) as Voltra goes flying. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would take on fellow Section X East Division St. Regis Fall Saints. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 11th minute on Chad Stalter's goal. Chad Stalter would strike again in the 16th minute to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 35th, he would complete the hat trick to make it 3-0. Then in the 53rd minute, Chad Slater would add a fourth goal to make it 4-0. Then in the 59th minute, the Bulldogs would score again this time though by Reid Laplante to make it 5-0. Then in 71st minute, the Saints would break the shutout with a goal by Lewis Goodrow to make it a 5-1 Bulldogs win. In the win, Chad Slater would have four goals and Josh Trombly would have four saves on the day as the Bulldogs go to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

The Malone Huskies would start the home portion of there season against rival Salmon River Shamrocks. It would be a very tightly contested game with many scoring chances on both sides. Although the Huskies would get lone goal in the 27th minute from Ieses Paranodes with the assist going to Alex Johnson. In the winning effort, Austin Lamay would have 11 saves for the shutout. Salmon River's Harvy Smith would be just as good stop 12 on the night. As the Huskies go to 4-1 on the season with the win. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Jake Remillard (10) and Dan O'Meara (18) with the crushing tackle on the Glens Falls Brenden Frye (12). The Plattsburgh North Stars would travel down to Glens Falls and take on the Greenjackets. The North Stars would take the quick 7-0 lead when Dexter Geohagan would run back the opening kickoff. Then they would strike again on there next drive on a long Touchdown pass to Dexter Geohagan to make it 14-0. Then the remainder of the first half the Greenjackets would charge back getting 10 points to make it 14-10 North Stars at intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the North Stars would extend there lead to 20-10 on Chris Fish's touchdown. The North Stars would strike again on Dexter Geohagan's third touchdown of the night to make it 26-10. The Greenjackets would do there best to try and get the win at the end scoring twice but the North Stars would hold on for 26-24 victory. With the win, the North Stars will go to 5-3 on the season with their regular-season finale against the Watertown Red & Black. Gallery

The game would be played in a steady mist throughout an already sloppy field. The Bulldogs would have a 1-0 lead at the break on Hannah Cook's goal. Then in the second half, the Bulldogs would be off to the races as they would get five goals coming from Danielle Charland, Katie Beach (twice), Hannah Cook, and Brianna Cook. The Panthers would get their lone goal on a penalty kick. The Bulldogs would get the 6-1 win and improve to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

The Bulldogs would leave little doubt in the game as they would score in the 1st minute and would be off to the races. The Bulldogs would get seven goals in the first half to take a 7-0 lead. It would be more of the same in the second half as they would get five more goals as they cruise to the 12-0 win. Leading the way in the goal department for the Bulldogs would be Hannah Cook with four goals. Along with Danielle Charland and Katie Beach adding two apiece. Supporters for Stan Russell are sitting down and having their spaghetti dinner. The Ellenburg Center Fire Department would have a spaghetti dinner to benefit there Fire Chief Stan Russell to help with the medical bills. There would be around 250 people that would come throughout the benefit. There would also be a 50/50 drawing along with a Chinese auction. The crowd would be study form the time it started right through the end. There were also many people that were taking orders to go. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs Vs Au Sable Valley Patriots September 7 2013

Saranac's John Maye (26) goes low on Au Sable Valley's John Goodnough (7) and takes him out of outbounds for the stop. The Saranac Chiefs would open up the season at home against the Au Sable Valley Patriots. The Chiefs would take the 7-0 lead with 1:46 left in the 1st quarter when Ethan Goslin would find Lance Hackett in the endzone for the touchdown. Although the Patriots would come right back and score on there next drive to make the score 7-6. On the in suing kickoff the Chiefs would cough up the ball and the Patriots would score. Then with 5:02 left in the half, the Chiefs would regain the lead at 14-12 on John Maye touchdown run. Then just over a minute later the Chiefs would extend there lead to 20-14 when John Maye would score on the touchdown run off a Patriot turnover. The Patriots would answer back though before the end of the half to tie the game at 20-20 at the break. When the teams came out of the break the Chiefs would start to take control of the game and regain the lead on John Maye's third touchdown run from the 5-yard line and would get the two-point conversion to make it 28-20. Then with the 4th quarter starting the Chiefs would score again behind John Maye to make it 34-20. Just three minutes later the Patriots would race down the field and score on John Goodnough runs to make it 34-28 and get back in the game. Then with 3:30 left the Chiefs would finish the Patriots off on Ethan Goslin's run to make it a 42-28 Chiefs win. Leading the way for the Chiefs in the win would be John Maye with 198 yards and four touchdowns. With the win, the Chiefs start the season at 1-0 as they head on the road to Beekmantown for week 2.

Chateaugay's Danielle Charland (12) takes it down the wing battling with Salmon River's Tonya Armstrong on her way to the net. Charland would have two goals on the win. The Chateaugay Bulldogs and Salmon River Shamrocks would get there season started in nonleague action. The Bulldogs would get the scoring started with Danielle Charland's goal in the 12th minute assist to Hannah Cook. Then just five minutes later Brianna Cook would get the unassisted goal to make it 2-0. Then in the 21st minute, Danielle Charland would score her second of the night with the assist going to Katie Beach 3-0. Salmon River would finally get on the broad in the 31st minute on the Tstoprnhariio Hearn penalty kick to make it 3-1. The Bulldogs would end the scoring in the 74 minutes on Rachel Young's goal assist to Katie Beach (second). In the winning effort, the Bulldogs goaltenders would save two shots while Salmon River's Wraven Sunday would stop twelve. As the Bulldogs would go to 1-0 and Shamrocks fall to 0-1. Gallery

Matt Ferry with Rotten Mean and Nasty twist the front of the tractor as he carries the wheels down the track to the win the Modified Tractor division. The New York State Tractor Pullers would return to the Vermont State Fair for there annual labor day hook. They would have 42 hooks spread over the Super Farm Tractors, Two Wheel Drive Trucks, Modified Tractors and Super Stock Tractors. The event would go one over the threat of rain throughout the day and the overcast sky would make for great horsepower and put on a great show for the fans. The winners on the day would be Just Money in Super Farm, Wolfman (Two Wheel Drive Trucks) Rotten Mean and Nasty (Modified Tractors), and Forced Decision (Super Stock Tractors). Gallery
