Plattsburgh's Jake Remillard (10) and Dan O'Meara (18) with the crushing tackle on the Glens Falls Brenden Frye (12). The Plattsburgh North Stars would travel down to Glens Falls and take on the Greenjackets. The North Stars would take the quick 7-0 lead when Dexter Geohagan would run back the opening kickoff. Then they would strike again on there next drive on a long Touchdown pass to Dexter Geohagan to make it 14-0. Then the remainder of the first half the Greenjackets would charge back getting 10 points to make it 14-10 North Stars at intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the North Stars would extend there lead to 20-10 on Chris Fish's touchdown. The North Stars would strike again on Dexter Geohagan's third touchdown of the night to make it 26-10. The Greenjackets would do there best to try and get the win at the end scoring twice but the North Stars would hold on for 26-24 victory. With the win, the North Stars will go to 5-3 on the season with their regular-season finale against the Watertown Red & Black. Gallery

Peru's Bret Boyer (20) with the leaping catch for the touchdown between Beekmantown's Justin Stevens (22) and Haydin Fountain (10) for the score. The Peru Indians would host the Beekmantown Eagles in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Championships. The Peru Indians would not leave much doubt in the game as they would take a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Then in the 2nd quarter, they would score three more times to take a 41-0 lead in the break. In the second half, the Eagles would do the best they could to keep the Indians off the scoreboard and only give up one score to make it a 48-0 final. With the lose the Eagles season comes to an end at 6-3. With the win, the Indians improve to 8-1 on the season. They will be moving on to state play next week against the Malone Huskies in Massena. Plattsburgh's Jamil McCray (24) gets upended as he goes through the middle getting the extra yards for the first down. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Monroe County Sting in the Empire Football League Championship. The North Stars would take the lead 7-0 after the first quarter. The Sting would take the lead 8-7 at the break. In the third quarter, both team's offense would go fast down and back and would be tied at 22 as the entered the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Stings would score to more times, and their defense would shut down the Northstars offense and get the 38-22 victory to earn the Empire Football League Championship. #3 Saranac Chiefs @ #2 Beekmantown Eagles October 20 2012

Beekmantown's Zack Myers (15) with the interception along the far sidelines to get back on offense. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Semi-Finals. The Eagles would take control right from the beginning and not look back. They would take the 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The eagles would get two more touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 28-6 at the break. Then in the second half, the Eagles would step up there defense and make the Chiefs have a few turnovers as they would into the endzone two more times to make a 42-6 final. With the win, the Chiefs season comes to an end at 2-6 and the Eagles go onto the championship next week against the Peru Indians. Gallery.

Plattsburgh's Andrew Price (83) with the leaping catch along the sidelines to keep the drive alive. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Watertown Red & Black in the semi-finals of the Empire Football League playoffs. The Plattsburgh North Stars would take the 7-0 lead after the first quarter thanks to the legs on Harry Rascoe. In the second the Red & Black would find the endzone but fail on the extra point and the North Stars would lead 7-6 at the intermission. The in the third quarter the Red and Black would strike quick to make it 13-7. Then late in the quarter the North Stars would tie the game up on Andrew Prices catch in the corner of the endzone. Then midway through the fourth quarter, the North Stars would score on Andrew Price's second touchdown of the night on a curl route just over the line. The Plattsburgh North Stars will host the Monroe County Stings next week for the Empire Football League championship. Gallery

Saranac's Michael Bernardi (22) takes it through the whole and cuts to the outside and goes for the 30-yard touchdown. The Saranac Chiefs would host the #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The Red Storm would use the offense to get out to the quick 23-0 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Red Storm would take a 36-0 lead into the break. They would get one more score in the third to get 42-0 lead. In the fourth quarter the Chiefs would score a couple times first on Michael Bernardi with the 30-yard touchdown run and then as time expired the Chiefs would get a 30-yard field goal from Tony Bushey. The Red Storm would get the 42-11 victory and finish the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs fall to 2-5. Next week the Red Storm will host the Ausable Valley Patriots in section 7 class C title game while the Chiefs travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in the Section 7 Class B Semi-Finals. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. Ticonderoga would get the open score in the first quarter to make it 8-0. The Chiefs would score in the 2nd quarter on Lance Hackets Touchdown reception and would go into the locker room at 8-6. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. Saranac's Michael Bernardi (22) is taken down by the legs as he fights for extra yards around the edge. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Peru and take on the Indians in CVAC match up between two bitter rivails. The game would be close through the openning quarter as the Indians would lead 7-0. Then in the second quarter is where the flood gates would open up and score 17 to take a 24-0 lead into the intermission. Then in second half it would be more of the same as the Chiefs were just disimatted my injuries throughout. The Peru Indians would score 27 more points and cruise to the 51-0 victory. Next week the Chiefs head back home where they will take on Ticonderoga. Gallery
