The Bulldogs would get the three games to one win. The scores of the games would be 25-12, 25-6, 20-25, 25-9. The Bulldogs would get great team play in there win to the extent their undefeated season to thirteen games. The Bulldogs are right back in action tomorrow as they head to Brushton-Moira. Gallery

Chateaugay's Rebbeca Roach (6) with the steal as she steps through and takes the ball from Tupper Lake's Allison Richards (11). The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in Section X East Division action. The game would remain scoreless until the 35th minute when the Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead on Brianna Cook's goal. The Bulldogs would extend the lead under a minute later when Brianna Cook would score again to make it 2-0. Then in the 39th minute, the Bulldogs would score again to take a 3-0 lead on Haylee Towers' goal. That is where the game would remain until the 76th minute when Rachel Young would score for the Bulldogs to give them the 4-0 win. In the winning effort, the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 12-0-1 on the season. Gallery

#2 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs #3 Syracuse Shock October 12 2013

Plattsburgh's Jamil McCray (24) with the stop and stands up the Syracuse Shock runner. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Syracuse Shock in the Empire Football League Championship. The Shock would take the early 8-0 on their opening drive. The North Stars would fight right back and tie the game at 8 on Dexter Geoghan touchdown. Although the Shock would score one more before the end of the quarter to make it 14-8 Shock. The North Stars would take the 15-14 lead on Brett Boyers 62 yard touchdown score. From there on it would be a shocking game as they would have 22 unanswered points to secure the 36-15 victory for the championship. Gallery

Beekmantown Eagles Vs Saranac Lake Red Storm October 12 2013

Beekmantown's Justin Stevens (22) lowers the shoulders and goes over Saranac Lake's Dan Strack (21) along the sidelines for extra yards. The Beekmantown Eagles and Saranac Lake Red Storm would meet during week 6 of Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. This would be a match of equally matched teams with most of the scoring coming in the first quarter. The Red Storm would strike twice and the Eagles once on Devin Fessetes score to make it 14-7 after one. Then in second quarter, the teams would trade scores with the Eagles score coming from Cameron Garceau to make it 21-14 Red Storm at the break. That is where the game would remain until the earlier part of the 4th when the Eagles would tie the game up at 21 on Justin Stevens running score. Although on the Red Storm drive they would march right down the field and score the game-winner to give the Red Storm the 28-21 victory. With the win, the Red Storm goes to 4-2 while the Eagles fall to 3-3 on the season.

The 3rd place Lake Placid Blue Bombers(5-2-1) beat the 6th place Westport Eagles(2-9-0) 3-1 in Boys MVAC Varsity Soccer. Start Baird(11), Blue Bombers, scored at 8:16 in the 1st assisted by Nzoni Thompson(8). Alex Brandes(13), Blue Bombers, scored at 16:23 in the 1st assisted by Shane McNierney. Ryan Davis(17), Eagles, scored at 32:37 in the 1st. Pat Kane(6), Blue Bombers, scored at 33:14 in the 2nd assisted by Stuart Baird(11). The Eagles had 7 shots on goal, 9 saves, 1 corner kick, 0 fouls, and 0 offsides. The Blue Bombers had 9 shots on goal, 7 saves, 11 corner kicks, 0 fouls, and 0 offsides. This would be the final regular-season home game for the Eagles. The half time ceremony is available in the store.

Crown Point Panthers vs. Westport Eagles October 10, 2013

The 3rd place Crown Point Panthers(5-4-0) shut out the 4th place Westport Eagles(4-5-0) 1-0 in Girls MVAC Varsity Soccer. Christy McGuinness(7), the Panthers, scored at 30:16 in the 1st half assisted by Brittany Foote(13). The Lady Eagles had 6 shots on goal and 5 saves. The Lady Panthers had 7 shots on goal, and 5 saves. This would be the final regular-season home game for the Lady Eagles. The half time ceremony is available in the store.

Chateaugay's Danielle Charland (12) collides into the Colton-Pierpont goalie on the shot attempt in close. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Colton-Pierpont Colts in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 27th minute on Hannah Cook's goal. That is where the game would remain until the 44th minute when Hannah Cook would strike again to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 58th minute, the Bulldogs would make it 3-0 on Danielle Charland's goal. Then in the 64th minute, the Bulldogs and Danielle Charland would score again to make it 4-0. Then in the 74th minute, the Bulldogs score again this time from Brianna Cook to make it 5-0. Then in the 75th minute, Danielle Charland would finish off her hat trick to make it 6-0. In the winning effort, Kennedy Boyea would stop four shots for the shutout as the Bulldogs go to 11-0-1 on the season. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Massena Red Raiders in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would definitely come out be ready to play as they would take care of the Red Raiders in straight sets (25-11, 25-21, 25-12). Leading the way for the Bulldogs would be Caitlin Miller with seven kills and Kylie Hanley with eighteen assists. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated as they would go to 12-0 on the season. Chateaugay's Wayne Cowan (19) and the Brushton-Moira defender go up for the ball inside the box and Cowan gets it on net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moira Panthers in Section X East Division. The two rivals would play a very spirited game throughout and be very competitive. The Bulldogs would get the opening goal in the 11th minute on the Cody Smith goal to make it 1-0 Bulldogs. That is where the game would remain until 63rd minute when the Bulldogs would increase the lead to 2-0 on Wayne Cowan's rebound goal. That would be enough for the Bulldogs as they would hold on for the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would just need to make one save for the shutout victory. With the win the Bulldogs go to 8-2-1 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh's Joshua Nephew (32) lowers the shoulder and goes right through the Glens Falls defender. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Glens Falls Greenjackets in the semi-finals of the Empire Football League playoffs. The North Stars would have a 7-0 lead after the first quarter on DJ Barber's touchdown. The scoring would pick up in the second quarter with three scores by the two teams to make it a 21-6 North Stars lead at the breaks the North Stars scores would come from Dexter and Elisa Parks. In the second the Greenjackets would do there best to stay in the game and that's just what they did scoring twice but the North Stars would get one score late from Elisa Parks to secure the 28-20 victory. With the win, the Plattsburgh North Stars will host next week's championship game against the Syracuse Shock as the North Stars advanced to their fifth straight title game. Gallery
