Plattsburgh State's Eli Bryant (1) goes up and under the basket as part of a game-high 22 point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in the first game of the final weekend of the season. The Cardinals would jump out to a big league in the first half and not look back as they would have a 46-28 lead at the break. When the teams came for the second half the Red Dragons would do there best to make a game of it but it wouldn't work. As the Cardinals would win the second half 49-46 and secure the easy 95-74 victory. In the winning effort, Eli Bryant and Jonathan Patron would lead the way with 22 points as the Cardinals go to 19-4 on the season. Gallery

When the game would start it would be tight as the Cardinals trailed 17-15 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the game would stay close as the Cardinals only lose it 19-17 and would trail 36-32 at the break, When the teams came back for the second half the Dragons would start to pull away as the Cardinals lose the third quarter 19-11 and trail 55-43 after the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would try to cut into the difference but would lose the quarter 17-14 and lose the game 72-57. In the losing effort, Kelly Degnan would lead the way with 16 points as the Cardinals fall to 3-3 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Taylor Claire (21) with the off-balance jumper along the baseline as part of 5 point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons as part of the last week of the regular season. It would be a low scoring game after the first quarter as the Red Dragons would have an 11-9 lead. In the second quarter the scoring would pick up but the Red Dragons would expand there lead with a 19-14 quarter for a 30-23 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the trend would continue as the Red Dragons win the quarter 22-16 and take a 52-39 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do there best to make up the deficit as they would win the quarter 20-13 although it wouldn't be enough as the Red Dragons win 65-59. In the losing effort, Bela Depasquale would lead the way with 20 points as the Cardinals fall to 8-16 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Jesse Nehr (22) looks to extend the lead on an open net but it goes just wide. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC action in the home finale of the season. The game would be tight throughout and remain scoreless until 11:33 of the second period when the Blue Devils score to take a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would tie the game up with 4 minutes remaining left in the second period on Rich McCartney's goal. Then at the 3:40 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would score twice in 20 seconds to make it 3-1 on Jesse Nehr and Rich McCartney's goal. The Blue Devils would score at the 12-minute mark on a penalty shot to cut the lead in half at 3-2. Then in the closing minute of the game, Aryton Valente would score the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at the meet, the win would go to Chance Lapier from Ausable Valley. Plattsburgh State's Liam Lawson (39) draws back and puts it in the top shelf for the Cardinal goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host SUNYAC foe Buffalo State Bengals in conference action. Mike Falanga would get the scoring going early as he would give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead two minutes into the game. Although the game would stay like that until the 9:51 mark of the second period when Liam Lawson would score on the power play to make it 2-0. Then in the closing five minutes of the period the Bengals would score twice on the same power play to tie the game up heading into the final period. In the final period, the Bengals would take the lead on a goal in the final four minutes to make it 3-2 and would later add the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. In the losing effort Jimmy Peorda would make 35 stops as the Cardinals fall to 11-11 on the season. Gallery.

The game would be tight throughout the first quarter and the Cardinals would trail 38-35 after the first half. When the teams came back for the second it would be a different half as the Cardinals would cross to win the half 39-22 and in turn win the game 74-60. In the winning effort, Jonathan Patron leads the way with 27 points as the Cardinals go to 16-4 on the season. Gallery
