Chateaugay Bulldogs' Hannah Cook (11) and Brushton-Moria Panthers Sandra Martin (33) battle over the ball leading to jump ball. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers in nondivisional action. The Bulldogs would race out to an early 15-0 lead. The Panthers, however, would scratch and claw there way back into the game and would take there first lead of the night with 8 seconds left and get the 39-38 victory. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Helen Giroux (20) pays the price for the shot on net that is steered wide with the toe save by Elmiras goalie. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would come up on the short end of a 3-2 contest against the Elmira College Soaring Eagles in a battle of two top 10 teams in the nation. Plattsburgh State would get the opening score by Kayla Colang to take the 1-0 lead 7 minutes into the first period. The Soaring Eagles would answer quickly back with the tying goal 2 minutes later. Then at the 14-minute mark of the period, they would take the 2-1. The Cardinals Kylie Klassen would tie the game at 2 with 30 seconds remaining in the first. The Soaring Eagles would get the game-winner just a minute into the second period for the 3-2 victory. With the lose the Cardinals take their first loss of the season falling to 7-1 and with the win the Soaring Eagles improve to 8-2-1 and are tied atop the conference standings. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Stephanie McCoy (33) goes up and under for the basket. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals were looking to come back after losing the night before. They would come up short with a 71-59 defeat to the Oneonta State Red Dragons. In the losing effort, Nora Campbell would lead the way with 19 points as the Cardinals would fall to 2-4 on the season and 0-2 in the conference. Gallery

In a game that was a rematch of last year's SUNYAC Championship, the Cardinals would prevail with the 69-60 win and improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. The Cardinals would open up conference play on the short end to the New Paltz Hawks 67-55. Turnovers would be the Cardinal's downfall every time they would start to get close they would lose the ball and the Wildcats would go on a run. Plattsburgh State's Errol Daniyan (4) wins the opening tip of the game New Paltz's Peter Carmel (42) and the start of the SUNYAC season was underway. The defending SUNYAC champions would pick up right where they left off last season as they beat the Hawks 87-73. The Cardinals run and gone style of offense would be the key to the victory as the Hawks just couldn't keep up in the late going. Carl Munnerlun would lead the way with 29 points. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Cole Stallard (20) with the power-play goal on the rebound as part of a two-goal night. It would be the host Plattsburgh State Cardinals and Concordia Cobbers in the First Round of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout. It would not start off good for the host Cardinals as they would give up two goals in the first period and trail 2-0. In the second period, both offenses would come alive as the Cobbers would score twice and the Cardinals would get three goals two from Cole Stallard and another from Jesse Neher to make it 4-3 Cobbers after two. In the third period, both defenses would step and there would be no scoring as the Cardinals fall 4-3. In the losing effort, Brady Rouleau would stop 16 as the Cardinals fall to 3-3 on the season. Primelink Great Northern Shootout Semi-Finals Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs St. John's (MN) Johnnies November 28th 2010

Plattsburgh State's Paul Puglisi (5) shot on net slices right by the St. John's defender on the way to the net. The game would turn into a shootout as the Cardinals would get the 7-4 win. The two teams would score early and often in the first period combining for 5 goals and the Cardinals would trail 3-2 on goals from Cody Adams and Dylan Adams. In the 2nd period, the Cardinals would get three unanswered goals to lead 5-3 on goals from Eric Satin, Vick Schlueter, and Patrick Jobbs. In the third period, the Cardinals would finish off the Johnnies for the 7-4 win on goals from Dan Sliasis & Dylan Clarke (2nd of the night). In the winning effort John Leis would stop 22 Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Kyle VanDermale (18) and the Morrisville defender with the big hip check at the blue line as the Cardinals were charging. The #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals were upset by Morrisville State 3-2 for the home opener of the 2010-2011 hockey seasons. The downfall for the Cardinals would be that they had a hard time staying out of the penalty box and the Mustangs capitalized with two power-play goals (2-8 on the night). Along with not being able to get there power play going as they went 1-9 on the night with the man up. The cardinals will home to get back on the right track next weekend as they will host Buffalo State and Fredonia. Gallery.
