Plattsburgh State's Laurie Bowler (22) would finish off her natural hat trick in the 3rd period with this top-shelf goal. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would finish off there weekend sweep of the #4 RIT Tigers with a convincing 5-2 victory. The Cardinals started off by getting three unanswered goals until the Tigers got on the board with 6 seconds left in the second period. In the third period, the Tigers did get to a one-goal game with 5 minutes to play. The Cardinals would answer back with 2 goals to secure the 5-2 victory. Gallery

In the first of a two-game series featuring teams ranked in the top five in the nation. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 RIT Tigers. The game would be scoreless until Stephanie Moberg would light the lamp for her 10 the goal of the season 13 seconds into the second period. Each team would score one more goal in the period giving the Cardinals a 2-1 heading into the third. In the third period, the Cardinals would score two more goals to take a 4-1 lead until two minutes left in the game when the Tigers would score two goals in the last two minutes to make the cardinals fight to hang onto the lead. Northeast Snocross Challenge Malone, NY January 10th 2010

It was the finals of the Rock Maple Racing Northeast Snocross Challenge at Franklin County Fairgrounds in Malone, NY. Many of the finals were very tightly contested as riders were going for the bragging rights that I won the last race in Malone. As an added bonus in the Pro Open division, it was the 1st leg of Woody's Triple Crown and Bailey Motor Company put up an extra $1,000 to winner of the race. The winner would be Bobby Lepage on the #244 Polaris that would pass Mathieu Morin with just two laps remaining in the 20 lap main event when he got held up the slower sleds. The Rock Maple Racing Snocross circuit made there 6th and what looks like final trip to Malone for the annual snocross race. It was side by side racing from the first race of the day at just nine in the morning until the last race of the day at around five o'clock. As the races were qualifying for the finals to take place on Sunday afternoon at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Malone, NY. Cardinal Classic Finals: Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs Trinity Bantams January 2nd 2010

The #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Trinity Bantams in the finals of the 14th annual Cardinal Classic at the Ronald B. Stafford Arena. The Cardinal would control the game from the drop of puck and would have a 2-0 lead after the first period before they exploded for five goals in the second period and then added a couple more in the third period for the convincing 9-0 win. Plattsburgh State's Patrick Jobb (9) put the quick wrister right on the net from right in front of the net on Trinity goaltender Wesley Vesprini (30) as the Cardinals would outshoot the Bantams 70-23. Cardinal Classic Semi Finals: Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs Castleton State Spartans January 1st 2010

The #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals opened up the Cardinal Classic with a very impressive 8-1 victory over the Castleton State Spartans. The Cardinals would take the quick 1-0 lead just 54 seconds into the game and would not look back. They would take a 4-0 lead into the final period before doubling there score in the final period for the 8-1 victory. Plattsburgh State's Ian Delong (10) would slide it under Castleton State's goaltender Justin Roethlingshoefer (35) for his fifth goal on the season and would also help with two assists. Gallery
