Malone's Mitch Gallagher (32) wins the opening tip of the game over Brushton-Moria's Justin Lavarnway (23) to spark the offense. The Malone Huskies would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. The Huskies would leave little doubt in the game as they would take a 26-2 lead after the first. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Huskies would win the quarter 24-6 and take a 50-8 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the third quarter it would be more of the same as the Huskies win the third 24-7 and take a 74-15 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Huskies would put on the finishing touches as they would win the quarter 22-6 to get the easy 96-21 victory. In the winning effort Nate Monnette would lead all scores with 21 points. With the win the Huskies finish off the regular season with a 17-1 record and win the central division. Gallery

Chateaugay's Emily Ashlaw (14) with the spike at the net that she deflects off the Argyle blocker for the point. It would be the first round of the New York State Class D Championship and it would feature the Chateaugay Bulldogs and the Argyle Scots. It would be four very tightly contested games, unfortunately, thought it would not be the night for the Bulldogs. The Argyle Scots would win in four games 25-19,25-21,17-25,25-17 with the lose the Chateaugay Bulldogs season comes to an end at 15-3 on the season. Gallery

Before hand the Chateaugay Bulldogs would honor there three seniors on the team. Once the game would get under way the Bulldogs would make quick work of the Panthers winning in straight sets (25-12, 25-6, 25-14). It would be a battle between a couple rivals and the Bulldogs would have the 12-7 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter Bulldogs would continue to control the game and win the quarter 18-10 and have a 30-17 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Panthers would start clawing there way back and win the quarter 11-7 although the Bulldogs would still lead 37-28. In the fourth quarter the Bulldogs would put the clamps down on the Panthers and win the quarter 21-10 and get the 58-38 victory.
