#16 Beekmentown Eagles @ Saranac Chiefs May 10 2013
Beekmantown's Greg Manney (7) with the fastball to the inside corner for strikeout as part a three strikeout three-hit day. The Saranac Chiefs would host rival Beekmantown Eagles in Section 7 baseball action. The game would remain scoreless until the third when the Eagles would add a run on Justin Stevens RBI single. The Eagles would get a second run in the fourth on Alex Price RBI single to make it 2-0. Then in the fifth the Eagles would explode with eleven runs thanks to some untimely errors by the Chiefs. The too big blows in the inning would be from Quenton Barber and Brandon Buska each having 2 RBI singles. That would ended it as the Eagles would end up getting the easy 13-0 win. In the winning effort, Greg Manney would go six strong innings and would give up three hits and strike out three. Gallery

Section VII Wrestling Championships February 9th 2013
Beekmentown's Jon Graziane hits the the cross-face cradle while on the mat. The five section VII schools would meet at Saranac for the 2013 Section VII Wrestling Championship. There would be many good matches throughout the day with many of them going the distances and some needing the extra period. As a team Peru would defend there sectional title with a score of 244, 2nd Beekmentown 203, 3rd Saranac 169, 4th Northern Adirondack 155 and 5th Ausable Valley 79. We would like congratulate all the individual winners and wish them the best of luck at the State Championships in Albany at the Times Union Center on February 22nd and 23rd. Gallery

#2 Malone Huskies Vs Saranac Chiefs January 2 2013
Malone's Tanner Studlack (25) slides the puck past Saranac's Zach Lareau (35) and scores one of his two goals on the night. The Malone Huskies would host the Saranac Chiefs in non-league action. Saranac would open up the scoring in first on Matt Macasland's goal assist to Kyle Erickson. The Huskies would tie it up on Kyle Head's goal 1-1. Saranac's Matt Macsland would give the Chiefs back the lead at 2-1 at the eight minute mark on his second of the night assist going to Kyle Erickson. The Chiefs would go up by 2 with 3 minutes left in the first on Nick Uilva's goal assist to Alex Sarazen. The Huskies would get it back within one in the last minute of the first on Tanner Studlacks goal assist to Cameron Daniels to make it 3-2 after the first. Then just three minutes into the second Studlack and Daniels would connext again to make it 3-3. Then in the ninth minute of the second period Chiefs would regain the lead on Jacob Lillehadel's goal with assist going to Kyle Erickson and Tristin Archambault. The Huskies would tie it up two minutes later on the Bailey Conklin goal with assist going to Kelsey Head and Tanner Studlack. to make it 4-4. Then with two minutes left in the 2nd period the Huskies would score two goals in 58 seconds by Kyler Head and Cameron Daniels to make it 6-4. Then with three minutes left in the third the Chiefs made the end interesting on Matt Macsaland third goal of the night to finish off the hat trick with assist going to Kyle Erickson and Jacob Lillehadl as the Huskies get the 6-5 win. Both goalies would still stop plenty of shots as Malone's Joey Brown stop 34 while Saranac's Zach LaReau stops 31. With the win the Malone Huskies go to 5-1-1 on the season and the Saranac Chiefs fall to 2-5-1. Gallery

#3 Saranac Chiefs @ #2 Beekmantown Eagles October 20 2012
Beekmantown's Zack Myers (15) with the interception along the far sidelines to get back on offense. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Semi-Finals. The Eagles would take control right from the beginning and not look back. They would take the 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The eagles would get two more touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 28-6 at the break. Then in the second half, the Eagles would step up there defense and make the Chiefs have a few turnovers as they would into the endzone two more times to make a 42-6 final. With the win, the Chiefs season comes to an end at 2-6 and the Eagles go onto the championship next week against the Peru Indians. Gallery.

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 7 Saranac Chiefs Vs #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm October 13 2012
Saranac's Michael Bernardi (22) takes it through the whole and cuts to the outside and goes for the 30-yard touchdown. The Saranac Chiefs would host the #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The Red Storm would use the offense to get out to the quick 23-0 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Red Storm would take a 36-0 lead into the break. They would get one more score in the third to get 42-0 lead. In the fourth quarter the Chiefs would score a couple times first on Michael Bernardi with the 30-yard touchdown run and then as time expired the Chiefs would get a 30-yard field goal from Tony Bushey. The Red Storm would get the 42-11 victory and finish the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs fall to 2-5. Next week the Red Storm will host the Ausable Valley Patriots in section 7 class C title game while the Chiefs travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in the Section 7 Class B Semi-Finals. Saranac's Lance Hackett (8) with the diving catch in the end zone for the touchdown. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in Champlain Valley football. Ticonderoga would get the open score in the first quarter to make it 8-0. The Chiefs would score in the 2nd quarter on Lance Hackets Touchdown reception and would go into the locker room at 8-6. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. With the lose the Chiefs falls to 2-4 on the season as they head into the regular-season finale against the Saranac Lake Red Storm. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 5 Saranac Chiefs @ Peru Indians September 29 2012
Saranac's Michael Bernardi (22) is taken down by the legs as he fights for extra yards around the edge. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Peru and take on the Indians in CVAC match up between two bitter rivails. The game would be close through the openning quarter as the Indians would lead 7-0. Then in the second quarter is where the flood gates would open up and score 17 to take a 24-0 lead into the intermission. Then in second half it would be more of the same as the Chiefs were just disimatted my injuries throughout. The Peru Indians would score 27 more points and cruise to the 51-0 victory. Next week the Chiefs head back home where they will take on Ticonderoga. Gallery
