Saranac's Michael Bernardi (22) takes it through the whole and cuts to the outside and goes for the 30-yard touchdown. The Saranac Chiefs would host the #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The Red Storm would use the offense to get out to the quick 23-0 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Red Storm would take a 36-0 lead into the break. They would get one more score in the third to get 42-0 lead. In the fourth quarter the Chiefs would score a couple times first on Michael Bernardi with the 30-yard touchdown run and then as time expired the Chiefs would get a 30-yard field goal from Tony Bushey. The Red Storm would get the 42-11 victory and finish the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs fall to 2-5. Next week the Red Storm will host the Ausable Valley Patriots in section 7 class C title game while the Chiefs travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in the Section 7 Class B Semi-Finals. Saranac's Dylan Charland (72) wraps up the runner in the backfield for the lost. The Saranac Chiefs would host the #6 Saranac Lake Red Storm in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The Red Storm would use the offense to get out to the quick 23-0 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Red Storm would take a 36-0 lead into the break. Ticonderoga would get the open score in the first quarter to make it 8-0. The Chiefs would score in the 2nd quarter on Lance Hackets Touchdown reception and would go into the locker room at 8-6. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. With the lose the Chiefs falls to 2-4 on the season as they head into the regular-season finale against the Saranac Lake Red Storm. Gallery

Ticonderoga would get the open score in the first quarter to make it 8-0. The Chiefs would score in the 2nd quarter on Lance Hackets Touchdown reception and would go into the locker room at 8-6. Then in the second half the Sentinels offense would wake up and put up 24 points and the Chiefs would get a late score to make it a 34-12 final. With the lose the Chiefs falls to 2-4 on the season as they head into the regular-season finale against the Saranac Lake Red Storm.

The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Peru and take on the Indians in CVAC match up between two bitter rivails. The game would be close through the openning quarter as the Indians would lead 7-0. Then in the second quarter is where the flood gates would open up and score 17 to take a 24-0 lead into the intermission. Then in second half it would be more of the same as the Chiefs were just disimatted my injuries throughout. The Peru Indians would score 27 more points and cruise to the 51-0 victory. Next week the Chiefs head back home where they will take on Ticonderoga. Gallery

The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Peru and take on the Indians in CVAC match up between two bitter rivals. The game would be close through the opening quarter as the Indians would lead 7-0. Then in the second quarter is where the flood gates would open up and score 17 to take a 24-0 lead into the intermission. Then in the second half, it would be more of the same as the Chiefs were just decimated by injuries throughout. The Peru Indians would score 27 more points and cruise to the 51-0 victory. Next week the Chiefs head back home where they will take on Ticonderoga.

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 2 Saranac Chiefs Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 8 2012

Saranac's John Maye (26) fights through the leg tackle to get the extra yards needed for the first down. The Saranac Chiefs would fall short at home as they would lose 28-6. The game would remain scoreless until the three-minute mark of the second quarter when Zack Myers would find Haydin Fountain for the score and take the 8-0 lead. The Eagles would strike again with a rushing touchdown with 34 seconds left in the half and take a 14-0 lead into the locker room. Then when the teams came back out for the 2nd half the third quarter would be a track meet with the Eagles scoring twice one a Zack Myers QB sneak and on a long TD pass to Haydin Fountain. The lone Saranac score would come on a 63 TD Pass. That is where the score would remain till the end with the win Eagles go to 2-0 and the Chiefs 1-1 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown's Zack Myers (15) is tackled from behind and taken out of bounds by a couple of Saranac defenders. The Saranac Chiefs would fall short at home as they would lose 28-6.
