The Peru Indians would host the Beekmantown Eagles in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Championships. The Peru Indians would not leave much doubt in the game as they would take a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Then in the 2nd quarter, they would score three more times to take a 41-0 lead in the break. In the second half, the Eagles would do the best they could to keep the Indians off the scoreboard and only give up one score to make it a 48-0 final. With the lose the Eagles season comes to an end at 6-3. With the win, the Indians improve to 8-1 on the season. They will be moving on to state play next week against the Malone Huskies in Massena. The Saranac Chiefs would travel to Beekmantown to take on the Eagles in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Class B Semi-Finals. The Eagles would take control right from the beginning and not look back. They would take the 14-6 lead after the first quarter. The eagles would get two more touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 28-6 at the break. Then in the second half, the Eagles would step up there defense and make the Chiefs have a few turnovers as they would into the endzone two more times to make a 42-6 final. With the win the Chiefs season comes to an end at 2-6 and the Eagles go onto the championship next week against the Peru Indians. Gallery
