The Red Raiders would take the 2-0 lead as the teams end the 1st period on Zach Roberts's goal. Zach Roberts would make it 3-0 lead at the 8:38 mark of the 2nd period. The Malone Huskies would host the Canton Golden Bears in Girls Basketball in the central division. The two teams would be matched evenly and the lead would stay between six and twelve points all game. The game would get very physical at times and some would even chippy. The Huskies would take the 17-9 lead after the first quarter. Then have a 24-18 lead at the break. Then they would have 38-28 lead after the third quarter and get the 50-39 victory. The Malone Huskies would open there Section X regular season against the Potsdam Sandstoners as both teams were looking to get off to a good start. The Huskies and Sandstoners would plat tight through the first quarter and the Huskies would hold a 15-10 after the quarter. In the second quarter, the Huskies would start out on an 8-0 and take that to a 27-17 lead at the break. In the third quarter, the Sandstoners would do there best to stat close but the Huskies would extend the lead to 38-26. In the fourth quarter, the Huskies athletes would just be too much for the Sandstoners and take the 55-35 victory. In the winning effort, Jon Dunleavy would lead the way with 15 points. The game would be scoreless throughout the first half. Malone would take the 1-0 lead in 47th minute on the Connor Dailey goal. The Huskies would strike again in the 53rd minute on Isai Pardoner's goal to make it 2-0 huskies. The golden bears would try and make a come back as they would score in the 75th minute on the Jake Watson goal to make it 2-1. That is where the game would stay as the Huskies would get the 2-1 win. The Malone Huskies would host their neighbors the Chateaugay Bulldogs in nonleague action. It would be a very competitive game all the way around. The lone goal in the game would come in 33rd minute as Courtney Boyea would find the back of the net for the Bulldogs. Malone would not give up and keep charging and even had a goal disallowed in the 15th minute on an offside call. In the winning effort, Makayla Fleury would have 10 saves on the night. Although losing Huskies goalie Jamie LaVoie would save 11. With the win, the Bulldogs continue there undefeated season and go to 13-0 as the Huskies would fall to 3-8-1. Gallery

Potsdam would take the 1-0 lead in the 4th minute on Grant's goal and would not look back from there. Potsdam's Hildreth would make it 2-0 in the 13th minute. The Sandstones would strike again the 35th minute on Dillon's goal to make it 3-0. That is where the score would remain until the 74th minute when Potsdam Rishe would score to make it 4-0. That would end up being the final as the Huskies would fall 4-0. With the lose the Huskies fall to 2-7-1 on the season. Gallery
