Chateaugay's Chad Slater (23) dives after the loose ball and comes up with the steal. Chateaugay's former Coach Ron Boyea is honored before the game for his 21 years of service as a varsity basketball coach. He would be receive a plaque with many accomplishments and around 50 former players would come back to celebrate with him. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats in non-league action. The Bulldogs would actually hold the Bobcats scoreless in the first quarter and lead 10-0 after the first. Then in the second quarter, the Bulldogs would outscore the Bobcats 15-4 to take 29-4 lead into the half. Then in the third quarter, the Bulldogs would outscore them 17-7 and take a 46-11 lead into the fourth. In the 4th quarter, the Bobcats would actually cut into the lead by outscoring the Bulldogs 13-8. Although the Bulldogs would hold on to for the 54-24 win. In the winning effort, Noah Bowes would lead the way with fifteen points. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 5-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Noah Bowes (32) steps back for the deep from the wing for the basket. The Bulldogs would get out to quick start and not look back from there as they would lead 16-6 after the first quarter. They would continue there hot play and take a 32-12 lead into the break. When the teams would come out the break it would be much of the same and the Bulldogs would cruise to the 63-22 win. In the winning effort, bulldogs would light it up from behind the arc as they would make thirteen three-pointers. Leading the way for the Bulldogs would be Noah Bowes with fourteen points. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 2-3 on the season and 1-1 in the division. Gallery

Chateaugay's Seth Young (14) with the floater in the lane. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Peru Indians in a non-league contest. The Bulldogs would do there best to hold it close although the size and strength of the Indians would prove to be too much as the Indians would get the 59-42 win. The times would be tied at twelve after the first quarter. The Indians would start to pull away in the 2nd quarter and take the 26-19 lead at the break. The Bulldogs would do there best to hold it close in the 3rd quarter as the Indians would have a 40-34 lead going into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Indians would just prove to be too much as they cruise to the 59-42 victory. With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 1-3 on the season. In the losing effort, Chad Slater would lead the way with twelve points. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Basketball Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs St. Regis Falls Siants December 10 2012

Chateaugay's Noah Bowes (32) wins the opening tip of the game to start the league season. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would start off their league portion of the season hosting the St. Regis Falls Saints. The game would go back and forth throughout the night with many lead changes. The Bulldogs would have the 16-12 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, the Saints defense would step up and hold the Bulldogs to six points and the Saints would lead 27-22 at the break. Throughout the rest of the game, the teams would play very even basketball although the Bulldogs just couldn't get over the top and fall 50-47. In the losing effort, Noah Bowes would lead the Bulldogs with 21 points. With the lose the Bulldogs fall 1-2 on the season. Gallery.

Malone's Harvey Smith (4) with the layup along the baseline for the score. The Malone Huskies would open there Section X regular season against the Potsdam Sandstoners as both teams were looking to get off to a good start. The Huskies and Sandstoners would plat tight through the first quarter and the Huskies would hold a 15-10 after the quarter. In the second quarter, the Huskies would start out on an 8-0 and take that to a 27-17 lead at the break. In the third quarter the Sandstoners would do there best to stat close but the Huskies would extend the lead to 38-26. In the fourth quarter, the Huskies athletes would just be too much for the Sandstoners and take the 55-35 victory. In the winning effort, Jon Dunleavy would lead the way with 15 points. With the win, the Huskies go to 3-0 on the early season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Devin Barnes (33) crashes into the defender for the basket for two of eight points on the night. The start of a new basketball season would bring a new start to Chateaugay basketball as Mike Martin would start his tender as the boys head basketball coach. The season would start as it always does with the Bobcat Shootout in Ellenburg as they would take on the St. Lawerence Larries. The Bulldogs would show there newest as they would trail 20-15 after the 1st quarter. Then in the second quarter, they start to hit there groove as they would take a 36-35 lead at the break. The third quarter would be very even as the Larries would take the 48-47 lead into the fourth. In that fourth quarter though the Bulldogs would outscore the Larries 14-7 to get the 62-54 win. In that winning effort, Noah Bowes would lead all scorers with 33 points and the Bulldogs start the season at 1-0 after a very physical contest. Gallery.

Arch Rivals the Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in the last game of the season with the East Division crown on the line. The game would be a rough and tumble hard-fought game throughout that would never get bigger than a ten-point difference. The game would be tied at 11 after the first and 21 at the break. before the Yellow Jackets would prevail with the 46-44 victory. With the Yellow Jackets win them and the Bulldogs would be crowned co-east champs. The Bulldogs finish the season at 17-1 overall and 11-1 in the division. Leading the way would be Michael Boyea with 20 points. Gallery

The Massena Red Raiders would lead the whole game although it would never get above a 10 point lead. The Red Raiders would hold a 24-16 lead at the break and then a space with the 59-55.
