Peru's Samuel Godfrey (23) with the three from the corner as part of a game-high 17 point night. It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference tilt as the host Peru Nighthawks would take on the Northeastern Clinton Cougars on a senior night for Peru. Although the seniors were honored before the game it would not be meant to be on this night as the Cougars would have a 25-19 lead at the half despite the best efforts by Nighthawks. When the teams would return for the second half the Nighthawks would try their best to stay in the game but the Cougars would have a 28-13 quarter and cruise to the 53-32 win. In the winning effort for the Cougars, Gillbo and Manor would lead the way 12 points as they go to 7-11 on the season. As for the Nighthawks, Samuel Godfrey would have a game of 17 points but it wouldn't be enough as they fall to 2-15 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Michael Phillips (2) with the long-range shot over the Huskies defender. It would be a non-conference affair as the Malone Huskies would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the Hornets for a little north country pride. The game would start off great for the home Hornets as they would jump out to a quick 23-8 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Huskies would start to get their stroke going and tie the Hornets for the quarter at 17 as the Hornets take a 40-25 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter both had made adjustments but it would be another fairly even quarter at 16-15 Huskies but the Hornets would still lead big at 55-41 as they head to the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the Hornets would put the final touches on the Huskies with a 20-10 quarter and secure the 75-51 win. In the winning effort, the Hornets go to 9-3 and the Huskies fall to 6-3 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh's MaxFilosca (5) takes flight on the layup and lays it off the window for two points. It would be a non-conference affair as the Malone Huskies would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the Hornets for a little north country pride. The game would start off great for the home Hornets as they would jump out to a quick 23-8 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Huskies would start to get their stroke going and tie the Hornets for the quarter at 17 as the Hornets take a 40-25 lead into the intermission. Chateaugay's Chad Slalter (23) with the tight defense on Madrid-Waddington's Colin O'Bryan (30) to stop the drive to the hoop. The Chateaugay Bulldogs host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in section ten action. The game would be a rematch of last years section ten class d championship game and it would deffenately live up to the billing. The game would get very phyiscail at times. When the first quarter would come to end they would be tied 7-7. In the second quarter the Bulldog defense would step as they would win the quarter 16-9 and take the 23-16 lead into the locker room. When the teams would return for the third quarter the intenity would remain and the Bulldogs would remain and the Bulldogs would get the quarter 14-9 and take the 37-25 into the fourt. In the fourth quarter the offenses would come alive and the Yellow Jackets would get it 22-19 but the Bulldogs would hold on for the 56-47 victory. In the the winning effort Devan Barnes would lead the way with fifteen points as the Bulldogs improve to 6-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Matt Swanston (11) wins the opening tip of the game with the tip forward to start the offense. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in Section X East Division action as part of Senior Night. The Bulldogs would get off to a quick start as they would have a 21-5 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter they would outscore the Panthers 23-3 and take a 44-8 lead at intermission. In the second half it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would score the Panthers 17-3 and cruise to the 61-11 victory. In the winning effort Devin Barnes would lead the way with 10 points. Coach Mike mMartin would like to thank all the senoirs for the time and commitment to the program over the years. With the win the Bulldogs go to 13-4 on the season.Gallery

Malone's Harvey Smith (4) takes flight and lays the ball of the window for the lay up basket for two of his thirteen points on the night. The Malone Huskies would host the Massena Red Raiders in basketball action as part of the Section X Central Division action. The game would be very physical with many fouls called through out the games as both teams were looking for the edge. The Huskies would lead by a slim 20-19 after the first quarter. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Red Raiders would win the quarter 19-17 and take a 38-37 lead at the break. The third quarter would be were the Huskies would run away with the games as there defense would really step up as the Huskies win the third 19-5 and take a 56-43 lead after the third. The Red Raiders were unable to much of a run in the 4th as the Huskies would get the 75-61 victory. In the winning effort Jon Dubleavey would lead the with 15 points as the Huskies go to 16-1 on the season.Gallery

Malone's Mitch Gallagher (32) wins the opening tip of the game over Brushton-Moria's Justin Lavarnway (23) to spark the offense. The Malone Huskies would host the Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. The Huskies would leave little doubt in the game as they would take a 26-2 lead after the first. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Huskies would win the quarter 24-6 and take a 50-8 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the third quarter it would be more of the same as the Huskies win the third 24-7 and take a 74-15 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Huskies would put on the finishing touches as they would win the quarter 22-6 to get the easy 96-21 victory. In the winning effort Nate Monnette would lead all scores with 21 points. With the win the Huskies finish off the regular season with a 17-1 record and win the central division. Gallery

Peru's Jon Martin (4) takes flight down the lane and lays it off the window for the score. It would be the third game of the Section 7/10 Challenge as the Malone Huskies would face off with the Peru Indians. The Huskies would job out to the 21-14 lead at the break. When the teams returned for the second half the Indians would claw the whole way and win the half 36-29 and force overtime tied at 50. In that overtime period, Malone would win it 9-4 and secure the 59-54 victory. With the loss the Peru Indians fall to 4-8 while Malone goes to 6-7 on the season. Gallery
