Saranac's Jacob Lillendahl (9) comes in on a breakaway and fires it over the shoulder of Tupper Lake's Tyler Nilsson for the goal. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in a nonleague match at the Plattsburgh State Field House. The Chiefs would take the 1-0 at the 4:45 mark of the first Kevin Fisher's goal. Then with just over a minute left in the first the Chiefs would extend the lead to 2-0 Jacob Lillendahl's goal. Then in the first minute of the second period the Lumberjacks would get on the board on Elliott Fletcher's goal to make it 2-1. That is where the game would stay til the 12:45 mark when Tupper Lake would tie it up on the power-play goal by Chase Bedore. Then just 20 seconds later the Chiefs would take the 3-2 lead with Kevin Fisher's second goal of the night. Then at the 6:06 mark of the third the Chiefs would make it 4-2 on Tristan Archambault's goal. Just over two minutes later the Lumberjacks would get back within one at 4-3 Elliott Fletcher's second goal. Then in the last minute of the game the Chiefs would put the game out of reach on Kevin Fisher's third of the night. With the win the Chiefs go to 1-3-1 while the Lumberjacks fall to 0-6-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Niskayuna Mohawks December 14 2013

Plattsburgh's Dean Dashnaw (30) makes the stick save and brings it into the body to stop play. The Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Niskayuna Mohawks in nonleague action. The Mohawks would strike first with a goal at 2:30 of the first. Then at 5:55 the Hornets would tie the game up at one on Ryan Whalen's goal. The Mohawks would retake the lead at 7:01 on Josh Kim's at 2-1. Then at 10:33 Ryan Whalen would tie the game back up at two with his second of the night. Then in the last minute of the period the Hornets would take the 3-2 lead Eric Bechard's goal. When the teams came back for the second period the Hornets would take the 4-2 lead at 3:36 on Ryan Whalen's third goal of the day. Then just 14 seconds later the Hornets would make it 5-2 Gavin Giroux goal. The Hornets would make it 6-2 at 5:36 on the Wade Weeden goal. Then the Mohawks would get the last two of the period to make it 6-4 after two. Then just 36 seconds into the third period Kurtis Olsen would get into the act to make it 7-4. Then at 4:06 mark of period the Hornets Eric Bechard would get his third of the day to secure the 8-4 win, In the winning effort Dean Dashnaw would make 13 saves as the Hornets go to 2-1 on the season. Beekmantown Eagles Vs Niskayuna Mohawks December 13 2013

Beekmantown's Nathan Foster (55) comes in on net with the shot and scores. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Niskayuna Mohawks in nonleague hockey action. The 1st period would be a big one for the Eagles as they would light the lamp five times with five different scores Brandon Buksa, Brendan Davison, Tyler Pepper, Nathan Foster, and Kyle Constantly and have a 5-1 lead after one. In the second period it would be more of the same the Eagles would score just one minute in from Brandon Buksa (2nd of the night to make it 6-1. Then in the 11th minute of the period the Eagles would score twice from Callum Sullivan and Syke Dominy to have an 8-1 lead after two. In the third period the Eagles would add one more from Nathan Hebert at the 10:40 mark to secure the 9-1 win. With the win Eagles go to 2-0 on the season. Gallery

Malone Huskies Vs Massena Red Raiders December 29 2012

Malone's Joey Brown (1) with the glove save high on the breakaway attempt for one of his 37 saves. The Malone Huskies would host the Massena Red Raiders in section x hockey action. The Red Raiders would strike early on the Grayson Phillps goal just 3:59 into the game and take the 1-0 lead. The Red Raiders would take the 2-0 lead as the teams end the 1st period on Zach Roberts's goal. Zach Roberts would make it 3-0 lead at the 8:38 mark of the 2nd period. Malone would get on the board with 40 seconds left in the 2nd period on Trevor Cooley's goal. In the losing effort, Joey Brown would stop 37 of 40 shots on the night as the Malone Huskies fall to 4-1-1 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Joey Brown (6) with the paddle save and then covers the puck to perverse the shutout. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Saranac Chiefs 1-0. The game would be a great game all the way through with both teams getting there chances. The lone goal would come with 7 minutes remaining in the game when Shawn Mulverhill lights the lamp. This would be a very important win for the team as it would give Coach Chuck Dievendorf his 300th career victory. With the win, the Malone Huskies finish there regular season at 2-18. Gallery

Malone Huskies Vs Norwood-Norfolk Icemen January 18 2012

Malone's Tucker Bartenslager (3) with the crunch hit along the end boards. The Malone Huskies would fall again this time to the Norwood-Norfolk Icemen 6-0. The Icemen would get two late first period goals from Cody Smith and Jacob Mayette. Then in the second period add on three more from Connor Brown and two from Zeb Brown. Then in third add one more from Jacob Mayette second of the night to close out the game. With the lose the Huskies fall to 1-12 on the season. Joey Brown would strong in net for the Huskies stopping 34 of 40 shots. Gallery
