Chateaugay's Abby Barnes wins the opening tip over Brushton-Moria's Caitlyn Lepage (15) and the Bulldogs are off to the races. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host arch-rival Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. The Bulldogs would leave little doubt in the game when they would outscore them 19-1 in the first quarter including a 13-0 run to start the game. From there on out the Panthers would do there best to stay in the game. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would outscore the Panthers 11-7 to take a 30-8 lead at intermission. Then in the second half, the Bulldogs would outscore the Panthers 27-23 to take the 59-31 victory. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 31 points. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 4-0 on the season. Gallery

Malone Huskies Vs Canton Golden Bears December 14 2012

Malone's Emily Marshall (45) drops her shoulder and takes on the defender as she charges down the baseline. The Malone Huskies would host the Canton Golden Bears in Girls Basketball in the central division. The two teams would be matched evenly and the lead would stay between six and twelve points all game. The game would get very physical at times and some would even chippy. The Huskies would take the 17-9 lead after the first quarter. Then have a 24-18 lead at the break. Then they would have 38-28 lead after the third quarter and get the 50-39 victory. In the winning effort, Morgan Fountain would lead the way with 17 points and bring an end to the Canton Golden Bears undefeated season. The Malone Huskies would go to 3-2 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Alexis Beach (10) comes in and lays it off the window for two of her four points on the night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints to opening up there season. The Bulldog's defense would be stellar as they would hold the Saints off the board until there were two minutes left in the half. Then Bulldogs would just put it on cruise control on their way to the 42-6 victory. Leading the way would be Hannah Cook with ten points. With the win, the Bulldogs start there season at 1-0. Malone's Whitney Legacy (20) lays it in her only 2 points on the night. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Canton Golden Bears 61-35. The game would be tight through the first half as the Huskies would lead 27-20 at the break. The deciding factor in the game would be the third quarter as the Huskies would outscore the Bears 21-5 and cruise to the 61-35 victory. Malone's Alyssa Tatro (12) goes in for the layup avoiding the block. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Gouverneur Wildcats 55-30. The Huskies would have complete control of the game from start to finish they would take a 35-16 lead into the break and then cruise to the 55-30 victory. In the winning effort, Katie Lavoie would lead the way with 14 points. With the win the Huskies improve to 13-3 overall and 7-1 in the division. Gallery

Chateaugay's Caitlin Miller (21) scrambles for the loose ball on the court. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the St. Regis Falls Saints 55-29. The game would be close until the 3 minutes left in the first quarter when the Bulldogs went of 14-2 run to end out the quarter and then would cruise to the 55-29 victory. Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 17 points along with 5 steals and 3 assists. Makayla Fleury would have a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Chateaugay's Alexis Beach (10) with the steal at half court as part of her seven steals night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets 50-36. It was a battle for the east division lead. Both teams entered tonight's contest with only one league loss each and were tied for first place in east divisional play. Malayala Fleury had twelve boards and played a great all-around game. Alexis Beach had another stellar defensive effort for the win. Alexis bottlenecked their offense from baseline to the baseline. Alexis had seven steals in the win and three assists. Hannah Cook had five steals and three assists. Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 25 points. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 9-1 in the league and 13-3 overall. Gallery

Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (11) goes in for the lay up on the break. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Edwards-Knox Cougars 45-26. The Bulldogs would start of slow but end the first quarter on a 15-2 run and that would close the book on the game. The Bulldogs would have a 24-12 lead at break and cruise to the 45-26 victory. In the winning effort, Abby Barnes would have 11 rebounds and Courtney Boyea would have a game-high 19 points. The Bulldogs improve to 12-4 on the season and 8-1 in the division. Gallery

The Bulldogs would start quick and not let up. Leading the way in scoring would Courtney Boyea with 14 points. Along with goof production of the bench from Katie Beach with 10 points. Chateaugay's Mikalya Fleury (20) drives down the open lane for the layup. The Chateaugay Bulldogs avenged an earlier loss against the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks and get the 56-30 win. In the win the Bulldogs would have three players scoring double digits Courtney Boyea with 16 Hannah Cook with 11 along with 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals and 6 assists, and Mikalya Fleury would chip in 10 and 11 rebounds for the double-double.
