The game would be tight through the first half as the Huskies would lead 27-20 at the break. The deciding factor in the game would be third quarter as the Huskies would out score the Bears 21-5 and cruise to the 61-35 victory. The Huskies would have complete control of the game from start to finish they would take a 35-16 lead into the break and then cruise to the 55-30 victory. The only goal of the game would come in the last minute of the first period when Jake Mooney would light the lamp. The rest of the night it would take a great defensive effort from the team to secure the 500th win for coach Bob Emery.
