It would be week two of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and it would pit the Plattsburgh Pioneers and Plattsburgh Honeybadgers. The Honeybadgers would bring there A game tonight and the Pioneers would be on there heel from the start. The Honeybadgers would win the first half going away 35-7. In the second half the Pioneers would do there best to make it a game but the Honeybadgers just had to much today winning the half 34-16 and getting the game 69-23. With the result of this game both the Honeybadgers and Pioneers would go to 1-1 on the season. Gallery.

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2014 Cardinal/Panther Classic Champion. It would be a battle of the top two teams in the nation for the Cardinal/Panther Classic Championship as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and Elmira Soaring Eagles would do battle. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead with 4:12 left in the first period on Caitlin Gilligains goal. Then at the 10:23 mark of the second period the Eagles would tie the game up at one on Johanna Eidensten's goal. Then just 12 seconds into the third period Shannon Stewart would score on the powerplay to make it 2-1 Cardinals. Then just over three minutes, the Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on Melissa Sheeran's goal. Then another three minutes later Cardinal's Mia Favretto would score to make it 4-1. The Soaring Eagles would add a late goal to make it 4-2 but it would not be enough as the Cardinals would get the 4-2 win and go to 8-0-2 on the season. Gallery

It would be the second week of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and it would pit the CR Tunes & Photography and the Plattsburgh Mod Squad. The CR Tunes & Photography would be in complete control from the beginning to the end. They would coast out to the 35-6 lead after the first half. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as CR Tunes @ Photography would win the half 37-12 and secure the 72-18 victory. Plattsburgh State's Jordan Lipson (2) with a backhander in the 4th round of the shootout to advance to the Cardinal/Panther Classic Championship. In the semi-finals of the Cardinal/Panthers classic, we would have a battle of two of the top four teams in the nation as #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Gustavus Adolphus Yellow Jackets. The Cardinals would get the lone goal of the first period just a 1:28 in on Melissa Sheeran's goal to make it 1-0 after the 1st period. Then at the 5:53 mark of the second period, the Cardinals would make it 2-0 Mia Favretto's goal. The Yellow Jackets would come back and make it 2-1 at the 10:33 mark of the second period. Then at the 17:32 mark of the second period, the Cardinals would regain the two-goal lead on Bridget Bailsey's goal to make it 3-1. Then at the 9:03 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would extend there lead to 4-1 the Andreas Zeissman goal. However, the Yellow Jackets would come charging back getting three goals in a 4-minute span to send the game to overtime tied at four. In the overtime there would be no scoring so the game would officially go down as a tie but seeing that it was a tournament they went to a shootout and the Cardinals would win it in the 4th round to head to the Championship and go to 7-0-2 on the season. Plattsburgh State's Spencer Finney (31) drops down in the butterfly to make the pad save. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Morrisville State Mustangs in SUNYAC action. The Cardinals would get the scoring starting with Kevin Emmerling (25) with the goal at 4:24 mark of the first period. The game would remain there till the last minute of the period when Morrisville's Darren Young would score to make it 1-1. Then at the 5:31 mark of the second period, Plattsburgh's Anthony Calabrese would score to make it 2-1. Then at the 15:04 mark of the second period, Joel Santino would tie the score up again for Morrisville at 2. Then in the span of 1:30 in the third period Michael Cassidy would score twice including a shorthanded goal to give the Cardinals the 4-2 lead. Then with just over two minutes left Kevin Emmerling would score on the powerplay to give the Cardinals the 5-2 lead and eventual win. In the winning effort, Spencer Finney would make 15 saves as the Cardinals go to 7-0 on the season. Gallery.

It would be the opening game of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and would pit the CJ Tunes & Photography and Fastenal Pink Panthers. It would be a hotly contested game throughout with no love loss between either team. CJ Tunes and Photography would have the 28-20 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same, and Fastenal would do there best on a comeback bid and win the half 18-15. Although it wouldn't be enough as CJ Tunes and Photography would hold on for the 43-38 victory as CJ Tunes and Photography goes to 1-0 while the Fastenal Pink Panthers drop to 0-1. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Dillan Fox (21) slides it by the goalie's toe but it goes straight across the paint. The #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Morrisville State Mustangs in SUNYAC play. It would be be looking like it was going to be a scoreless first until the Mustangs took 1-0 lead with 1:02 left in the period on the Zach Baker goal. When the teams came back for the second period the Cardinals would waste no time in tying the game up on Mark Constantines goal 20 seconds into the period. Then at the 7:23 mark of the period, the Cardinals would take the 2-1 lead on the Michael Radisa goal. Then at the 16:52 mark of the period the Mustangs would answer back on the Robert Molinaro goal to make it 2-2. Then just 15 seconds later the Cardinals would regain the lead at 3-2 on the Rich Botting goal. The game would stay there until the 8:43 mark of the third period when Zach Popp would score to make it 4-2. Then at the 14:30 mark of the third Joe Santino would score for the Mustangs to try and make it interesting down the stretch at 4-3. Although in the closing minute of the game Brandon O'Quinn would score the empty netter to secure the 5-3 victory. Plattsburgh State's Kayla Meneghin (9) comes down the breakaway and fires off the shot for the goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Chatham Cougars in ECAC West play. The Cadinals would waste no time putting there mark on the game scoring four times in the first for the 4-0 lead. Getting the goals in the first period would be Giovania Sense, Melissa Ames, Bridget Baisley, and Katylin Turk. In the second period it would be more of the same the Cardinals would light the lamp five times for the 9-0 lead. Getting goals in the second period would be Kayla Meneghin, Mia Favretto, Oliva Fox, Shannon Stewart, Kayla Meneighan (second of the night), and Giovanna Sense (second of the night). Then in theird period the Cardinals would win it 2-1 to secure the 11-1 victory. In the third period the teams would trade goals to secure the 11-1 victory. The #5 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC play this would also be the home opener for the Cardinals. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead at the 8:36 mark on the Connor Gorman goal. Then just about a minute and half later Zach Popp would score on the power play to make it 2-0 after the first period. When the second period open the Cardinals would score two goal in 39 seconds to make it 4-0 on Michael Rasida and Michael Cassidy goals. Then at the 9:25 mark of the second Rich Botting would score on the power play to make it 5-0. Then just over two minute later the Bengals would get on the board from Jake Rosen to make it 5-1. Then at the 15:35 mark of the second period the Cardinals would regain there 5 goal lead on Brandon O'Quinn's go to make it 6-1. As the Cardinals would get the 6-1 victory. It would be the final week of the regular season of the North Country Flag Football League and it would pit the top two teams in the league Malianakas Masonry Vs American Legion/SL Trucking. It would be a hotly contested game through and the American Legion would have the 7-6 lead at the break. When the team came back for the second half Malianakas would start hitting on offense and win the half 14-6 and with that would win the game 20-13 and clinch the regular-season championship. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would celebrate with there hardware as they are crowned the 2014 New York State Class D Regional champions. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Lake Placid Blue Bombers in the Regional finals. There would be four games that would be needed to determine the winner. In the end, the Bulldogs would get the three 3-1 win by a score of 25-13, 25-22, 24-26, and 25-10. With the win, the Bulldogs will make there the fourth trip to the New York State Final Four in Glens Falls on November 15th and 16th. Gallery.

The Bulldogs would come in and put their best foot forward and show why they were the section 10 champions. The Bulldogs would get the straight-sets victory to advance to the Quarterfinals. The scores of the three games would be 25-18, 25-13, and 25-20. With the win, the Chateaugay Bulldogs go to 20-1 on the season and will play Lake Placid for the right to go to the final four. These would be the top two teams throughout the season and they would show it again tonight. This time the Massena Red Raiders would be the ones that would come out on top winning the title in four games. The scores of the four games would be 25-19, 16-25 25-20, and 25-18. With the loss, the Bulldogs are given there first loss of the season and are 19-1 on the season. The next game for the Bulldogs will be Galaway on November 5th at Saratoga High School.Gallery.

The Peru Indians team poses for there team photo as they are crowned the 2014 New York State Section 7 Class B Champions. The #1 Peru Indians would meet up with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles in New York State Section 7 Championship at Ausable Valley. The Eagles would strike first on a Justin Stevens touchdown run in the first quarter to make it 7-0. In the second quarter Eagles Matt Villa would return the interception for the score to make it 14-0. Later in the quarter, the Indians would get on the board to make it 14-7 as they head to the half. In the third quarter, the teams would trade scores with Justin Stevens run to make it 21-7 Eagles headed to the fourth quarter the Indians would score twice in the quarter including Buddy Altizer game-winner with 12 seconds to give the Indians the 28-21 victory. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would go to 9-0 and advance to the New York State Class B Playoffs against Malone. Even though the Eagles would lose Justin Stevens would set the single-season Section 7 rushing total at 1,850 yards. Gallery.

The Saranac Lake Red Storm poses for there team photo as they as they are crowned the 2014 Section 7 Class C Champions. The #1 Saranac Lake Red Storm would meet up with the #3 Ausable Valley Patriots in the Section 7 Football championships. The Red Storm would make easy work of the Patriots in the first half and take a 35-7 lead into the locker room. In the second half, the Patriots would try there best to make a game of it but the deficit would be too big to overcome they would win the half at 16-7 but would fall 42-23. With the win, the Red Storm head into the New York State Class C Playoffs against Ogdensburg while the Patriots season comes to an end at 2-7. Gallery
