When the teams returned the story would change as Malianakas would give everything they had and win the half 13-0 but they would come up short and American Legion/SL Trucking would be crowned the 2014 champions with the 14-13 victory. In the second half, it would be the same story as the American Legion would outscore them 14-0 ad secure the 35-0 victory. It would be the final week of the regular season of the North Country Flag Football League and it would pit the top two teams in the league Malianakas Masonry Vs American Legion/SL Trucking. It would be a hotly contested game through and the American Legion would have the 7-6 lead at the break. When the team came back for the second half Malianakas would start hitting on offense and win the half 14-6 and with that would win the game 20-13 and clinch the regular-season championship.
