Fourth Ward's Adam Bradish charges the slow roller and fired across the diamond for the out. The Fourth Ward Timberjaxxs would defeat the Airborne Speedway Padres 14-5. The game would start off well for the Padres as they would take the 1-0 lead after the first. Then in the second, they would get four more on a grand slam from Mark Eggleston to take the 5-0 lead. From there on out the Timberjaxxs would get fourteen unanswered runs. The big dagger in the heart would come in the third when they would score nine runs as the Padres pitches were having problems located the plate. With the win the Timberjaxxs finish the season at 4-11 and as the Padres go to 7-8. Gallery

Lyon Mountain's Kris Chase (1) makes connects on the pitch for the game winning two rbi single. The Lyon Mountain Miners would defeat the Fourth Ward Athletics 4-2. The Miners would jump out to the early 2-0 lead in the first. That is where the score would remain until the Athletics would tie up at two in the fifth. Then in the sixth Kris Chase would get the game winning hit. With the Miners finish the season at 10-5 and get a share of the regular season crown while the Athletics finish at 5-10. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Bryan Stanley (28)leaps over the wide receiver for the great interception to end Southern Vermont drive. The Plattsburgh North Stars would defeat the Southern Vermont Storm 34-19. The Plattsburgh North Stars would start there season with many new faces and old faces in new places. As the game started you could see the changes were affecting their execution with many penalities. Although they would get it figured out and start to click. The first score of the game would come on a beautiful catch by Kevin Gibson that he would take the endzone for the lead early. Harry Rascoe would have to more touchdown passes on the day in the win. With the win, the North Stars start there season at 1-0. Gallery

Airborne Speedway's Chris Markwickia (24) slides in safe at the plate for the winning run in game 2. The Airborne Speedway Padres and the 4th Ward Timberjaxxs would split a doubleheader. The Timberjaxxs would have a come from behind win in game 1 7-4. Then in game two the Padres would hold on for the 4-3 victory. In-game one the Timberjaxxs would get the early 1-0 lead in the first. The Padres would come back and get three in third to take the 3-1 lead. The Padres would add another in the fifth for the 4-1 lead. The Timberjaxxs would start there comeback by getting one in the sixth to make it 4-2. Then in the seventh inning the wheels would come off for the Padres and the Timberjaxxs bats woke up and they got 5 runs to get the 7-4 win. In the winning effort, DJ Barber would go six innings striking five for the victory. In-game two the Padres would get the 4-3 victory with again some late-game drama by getting two in the sixth to take the lead. Then we would need to scramble for the seventh to hang on for the 4-3 victory. Gallery

Clinton County's Casey Roenbeck (25) with the sliding catch into the fence to record the out in the foul ground. The Clinton County Mariners would defeat Malone Post 219 14-4 in 5 innings. Clinton County would take the early lead 4-0 after the first and not look back from there. Then in the second inning, they would trade three runs as Malone trade to stay in the game at 7-3. The Mariners would add three more in the third and four in the fourth for 14-4 victory. In the winning effort, Logan Recore would go the distance striking out four and giving four hits and four runs. With the win, the Mariners go to 11-4 on the season while Malone falls to 2-3. Gallery.

Airborne Speedway's Mark Eggleston (1) with leaping catch at fence in foul terrority. The Airborne Speedway Padres would sweep a doubleheader over the Fourth Ward Athletics by scores of 15-0 and 14-11. In-game one the Athletics would have no answer for Matt Rivers has would go the complete game striking out three and giving up just two hits. The Padres would score early and often as they would get two in the first, one in second to make it 3-0. Then in the third the Padres would explode for five runs including a three-run homer from Joey Painter to make it 8-0. Then in the fifth, the Padres would finish it off with a seven-spot as the Athletics pitcher was having problems locating the plate for the 15-0 final. Then in game two, they would trade runs in the first to make it 1-1. The Padres would take the 2-1 lead after two. Then in the third A's would come back and tie the game at 3. Then in the fourth the Padres would take 10-5 lead on the seven-run inning on the strength of Nick Desrochers and Mark Eggleston's back to back home runs. In the fifth, the A's would trim the lead to two runs at 11-9 on the strength of a four-run inning. Then the teams would trade runs over the remaining innings to make the final 14-11 Getting the win in relief was Matt Rivers. As the Padres would improve to 7-7 and the A's fall to 5-9 on the season with one week remaining. Gallery

Plattsburgh Cardinals Alex LaFountain (7) slides in safe at third base just ahead of the tag of Airborne Speedway's Shane Perrotte (2) for the triple. The Plattsburgh Cardinals would sweep the Airborne Speedway Padres 4-1 and 8-6. The first game of the day would be tight through and the Cardinals would just come up better with the timely hitting. In-game 2 the Padres would hold a 6-1 lead heading into the sixth inning and then wheels would just fall off as errors would kill them in the remaining two innings and give up seven runs. With the sweep, the Cardinals go to 9-3, and Padres fall to 5-7 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Brian Ashline (20) with the tag at the plate on the Renegade looking to score. The Malone Post 219 would fall to the Hudson Valley Renegades 6-4 in the opening game of the Mehan/Turner Tournament. The Renegades would take the 1-0 lead in the first and then in second Malone would tie it up at 1. The game would remain there until the Renegades would get four in the fifth to take the 5-1 lead. Malone would answer back with two in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-3. Then in the sixth, the teams would trade runs to make it 6-4. Brandon Welch would go 5 innings in the losing effort while striking four. With the loss, Malone falls to 1-1. Gallery.

Airborne Speedway's Frank Brogna (5) with one of his twelve strikes outs as he pitches the no-hitter. The Airborne Speedway Padres would sweep a doubleheader with the Meron's Expos 9-0 & 12-0. In-game 1 it would be close at 2-0 until when the bats would explode for 6 runs to make it 8-0. Then to finish off the game the Padres would add one more to make it 9-0 for the victory. The story of the game would be Frank Brogna as he would go the complete game strikeout twelve and give up no hits for the no-hitter. In-game two the Padres bats would stay hot as the would get to expos early by getting six in the second and five in the third and finish it off with one in the fourth for the 12-0 win in five innings. Leading the way offensively for Padres would Eric Bell with a home run and Joey Painter with a three-hit game. On the mound, Matt Rivers would give up just three hits and strike out two. With the sweep, the Padres improve to 5-5 while the Expos fall to 7-3. Gallery
