The Malone Huskies would come short in there home opener losing 6-0 to the Plattsburgh Hornets in nondivision action. The Plattsburgh Hornets would get two-goal in each period for the win. Also having a big night would be Caitlin Miller with 11 points and 15 rebounds. Oswego would open up the scoring 6 minutes into the first. The Cardinals would answer back to tie the game at 1. in the second minutes of the 2nd period on the Paul Puglisi goal. Oswego would reassume the lead 5 minutes later. Then just 90 seconds later Alex Jensen would tie the game up for good.
