The Malone Huskies team celeberates as they recieve there throphy for winning the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game through out the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show there dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three touchdown day. With the win the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.Gallery

Saranac Chief's Nate Bedell (81) with the leaping catch over the middle of the field using those fingertips. It would be the Saranac Chiefs meeting up with Beekmantown Eagles in the semis of the Northern Football Conference Class B playoffs. It would be a tight game through the first half as the Eagles would take a 14-0 lead in the break. Then on the opening drive of the second half, the Eagles would score and that would end it for the Chief. As the Eagles would go to score twice more and get the 34-0 victory. With the lose the season comes to end for the Chiefs with a 6-3 record. As the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Class B Championship against the Peru Indians at Ausable Valley. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Kris Ross (14) and Kevin Gibson (53) wrap up and take down the Albany Metro Mallers running back. The Plattsburgh North Stars quest to repeat as EFL Champions came to end in Amsterdam against the Albany Metro Mallers with a 29-14 defeat. It would be a game that would it fair share of hard-hitting and rain that would play havoc on the game. It was a tight game through the first half that would see the teams deadlocked at 14 at the break. Then the second half the North Stars would have their chances just couldn't get anything to connect. The season will end for the Plattsburgh North Stars with an 11-3 record on the season. Gallery

The game would be tight throughout the first half with the Chiefs taking a 27-20 lead into the break. In the end, it would be the tale of two halves as in the second half would steamroll the Huskies and get the convincing 48-27 win and end Malone's unbeaten season. With the win the Chiefs improve there record to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in Class B. Gallery

In a game that had first place on the line and possible home field for the championship would pit to the top 2 teams in the league as the Syracuse Shock take a 27-21 win over the Plats North Stars. The game would see the Shock a quick 14-0 lead within the first 5 minutes of the game. The North Stars would close the racks though and would be down 14-7 after the first quarter and would be a 21-14 Shocks lead at the break. The in the second half the teams would traded scores with the Shock controlling the last 5 minutes of the game to secure the win over the North Stars. Gallery

The Plattsburgh North Stars would continue there winning ways as they went back on the road for the first in six weeks and get there 5th win a row. The North Stears would get a 14-8 victory after the Zephyrs marched the ball down the field on the opening drive the North Stars defense would close up the ranks and hold them the rest of the game. The North Stars would answer with the touch of there in the first half on two short runs from Zack Blocker and Kenny Stay. With the win, it ensures that next weekend's game when the North Stars travel to Syracuse it will be a game for first place. Gallery

The Plattsburgh North Stars would get the convincing victory over a long time rival the Glenns Falls Green Jackets with a 22-0 win and also win back the Mayor's Cup. The North Stars would strike for two quick touchdowns in the first quarter and take a 14-0 lead on a Trevor St. Clair and Zack Blocker scores. The score would remain that until midway through the fourth quarter when Eilsa Park would punch a touchdown on the goal line and convert a two-pointer on a bad snap of the extra point. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Kevin Gibson (53) with the tackle on the for the sack of the Montreal Voyageurs quarterback. The Plattsburgh North Stars would struggle through the first half as they wouldn't get on the bard till 5 minutes left in half taking a 5-0 lead on Mitch Ryder 47 yard field goal and a safety on the kickoff. Then the offense would strike in the last minute of the half on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Kenny Stay to Trevor St. Clair to take the 12-0 lead into the break. In the second half, the North Stars would get another 12 points to secure the 24-6 win. With the win, North Stars improve there record to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the league. The North Stars will be off next week before they are back in action at home for a rematch of last year's championship against the Watertown Red & Black on July 30th. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Tom Gallup (71) meets the Albany Metro Mallers running back when he turned after the shovel pass. It was the season opener for the Empire Football League season and the defending champions would start on the road taken on a return to the team to the Albany Metro Mallers There would be no scoring in this very physical contest until the second quarter when the North Stars would take a 3-0 lead on a field goal and hold the lead to the half. The Metro Mallers would take a 6-3 lead on a three-yard touchdown pass nearing the end of the third quarter. Then in the fourth quarter, the Metro Mallers would strike again on a 23-yard touchdown pass to take a 12-3 lead. The North Stars would strike back on the next drive when Kenny Stay would find Jordan Keleher in the end zone for a four-yard touchdown pass. The Metro Mallers would put the icing on the cake when they would score on a 70-yard touchdown to secure the 19-10 victory. With the lose the North Stars start the season off at 0-1 and will be at home next weekend to take on the Montreal Voyagers while the Albany Metro Mallers will be hosting the Watertown Red & Black. The North Stars would scream out of the gates and take a 17-0 lead after the first quarter. Then would add a couple more scores in the second quarter and take a 30-0 lead into the break. In the second half, they would test out different people and sets and cruise to the 44-8 win.
