The Plattsburgh North Stars quest to repeat as EFL Champions came to end in Amsterdam against the Albany Metro Mallers with a 29-14 defeat. It would be a game that would it fair share of hard-hitting and rain that would play havoc on the game. It was a tight game through the first half that would see the teams deadlocked at 14 at the break. Then the second half the North Stars would have their chances just couldn't get anything to connect. Ed Stewart and the Warm & Fuzzy with a straight run down the track to take the win the Super Farm/Limited Pro class. The annual tractor pull at the Essex County Fair would mark the end of the 2011 tour on the Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers season. Dwayne Newans and his Wild Thing would wrap up the championship in the 6,200lb Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks B to give him his first championship in many seasons with the Adirondack Truck Tractor Pullers Association. The birthplace of the Street Legal Truck Pull for the Adirondack Pullers would make its annual return to the Essex County Fair in Westport, NY there would be around 50 entries that would be split up into 11 different classes range from pure stock trucks all the way up to Pro Stock 4x4 purpose built pulling trucks. Plattsburgh State's Megan DiJulio (13) with the check along the end boards to free up the puck. he Plattsburgh State Cardinals would come up on the short end of a 3-2 contest against the Elmira College Soaring Eagles in a battle of two top 10 teams in the nation. Plattsburgh State would get the opening score bt Kayla Colang to take the 1-0 lead 7 minutes into the first period. The Soaring Eagles would answer quickly back with the tying goal 2 minutes later. Then at the 14-minute mark of the period they would take the 2-1. The Cardinals Kylie Klassen would tie the game at 2 with 30 seconds remaining in the first. The Soaring Eagles would get the game-winner just a minute into the second period for the 3-2 victory. With the lose the Cardinals take there first loss of the season falling to 7-1 and with the win the Soaring Eagles improve to 8-2-1 and are tied atop the conference standings. Gallery

In a game that was a rematch of last year's SUNYAC Championship the Cardinals would prevail with the 69-60 win and improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
