Saranac's George Miller (44) takes it around the edge into the open field for the big gain. The Moriah Vikings would travel up to Saranac and take on the Chiefs in Champlain Valley Football action. The Vikings would jump out to a quick 21-0 lead after the first quarter with some help from some untimely turnovers from the Chiefs. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Vikings would get three more to make it 33-0 at the half. In the second half, the Chiefs would actually step up the defense and win the half 22-7. Their scores would come from Dillan Clay, Caiden Goodman, and George Miller. The final score would end up being Vikings 40 and Chiefs 22 as the Chiefs fall to 0-2 and Vikings go to 2-0 on the season. Gallery.

Saranac's Kaitlyn Bowman (30) cuts in front of the defender and fires up the scope shot for the basket. The #12 Saranac Chiefs would play the #4 Tarmac Bengals at the Plattsburgh State Field House in the Quarterfinals of the New York State Class B Tournament. After the first quarter, the Chiefs would have slim 17-16 lead. In the second quarter, the Bengals would heat up some and win the quarter 17-11 and take the 33-28 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third the chess match would be on as they tied for the quarter at 11 giving the Bengals 44-39 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Chiefs couldn't overcome the Bengals as they Bengals win the quarter 17-13 and win the game 61-52. With the lose the Chiefs season comes to an end at 15-4. Gallery

Saranac's Kayla Napper (12) splits the defenders and lays it off the window for the score. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action at the Ronald Stafford Ice Arena at Plattsburgh State. The game would remain scoreless always until the 2:46 mark of the second period when Dayton Roberts would light the lamp for the 1-0 Cougars lead. Dayton Roberts would strike again at 12:39 mark this time with the short-handed goal to give the Cougars the 2-0 lead. In the third, the Chiefs would strike with just over five minutes left to make it a 2-1 game down the stretch on Danny Bridgeman's goal. Although the Cougars would strike twice in the matter of fives with under two minutes left on Jordan Lemere and Nick Leduc's goals to give the Cougars the 4-1 victory. In the winning effort, Ryan Roberts would make 30 saves on the night as the Cougars go to 5-4-1 on the season while the Chiefs fall to 3-7-1. Gallery

Then with just over a minute left in the first the Chiefs would extend the lead to 2-0 Jacob Lillendahl's goal. Then in the first minute of the second period the Lumberjacks would get on the board on Elliott Fletcher's goal to make it 2-1. That is where the game would stay til the 12:45 mark when Tupper Lake would tie it up on the power-play goal by Chase Bedore. Then just 20 seconds later the Chiefs would take the 3-2 lead with Kevin Fisher's second goal of the night. Then at the 6:06 mark of the third the Chiefs would make it 4-2 on Tristan Archambault's goal. Just over two minutes later the Lumberjacks would get back within one at 4-3 Elliott Fletcher's second goal. Then in the last minute of the game the Chiefs would put the game out of reach on Kevin Fisher's third of the night. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles at the Plattsburgh State Field House in a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference match-up. The Eagles would take the early 1-0 lead on Ryan Waterbury's goal at the 5:01 mark. Then with under two minutes left in the period the Eagles would extend it to 2-0 Kyle Bisonette's goal. Then inside the final minute the Eagles would score again with Nathan Foster on the shorthand for the 3-0 lead after one. Then early on in the second period Nathan Foster would get his second goal of the night for the 4-0 lead. Then at the 13:33 mark of the second period the Eagles would take a 5-0 lead on Kyle Bissonette's goal. Then just 1:33 into the third period Nathan Foster would finish off the hat trick for the 6-0 lead. Then at 2:54 of the third period the Eagles would finish off the scoring assault to make it 7-0 on Kyle Bisonette's third of the night. The Chiefs would get a late goal in the third period on a scramble play in front as the Eagles get the 7-1 win. With the win the Eagles go to 3-0 while the Chiefs fall to 0-3-1 on the season.
