The Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles at the Plattsburgh State Field House in a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference match-up. The Eagles would take the early 1-0 lead on Ryan Waterbury's goal at the 5:01 mark. Then with under two minutes left in the period the Eagles would extend it to 2-0 Kyle Bisonette's goal. Then inside the final minute the Eagles would score again with Nathan Foster on the shorthand for the 3-0 lead after one. Then early on in the second period Nathan Foster would get his second goal of the night for the 4-0 lead. Then at the 13:33 mark of the second period the Eagles would take a 5-0 lead on Kyle Bissonette's goal. Then just 1:33 into the third period Nathan Foster would finish off the hat trick for the 6-0 lead. Then at 2:54 of the third period the Eagles would finish off the scoring assault to make it 7-0 on Kyle Bisonette's third of the night. The Chiefs would get a late goal in the third period on a scramble play in front as the Eagles get the 7-1 win. With the win the Eagles go to 3-0 while the Chiefs fall to 0-3-1 on the season.
