Peru Indians Vs Canton Golden Bears High School Boy's Basketball March 8th 2018
Peru's Hunter Caron (5) with the straight-on three over the Canton defender. The Peru Indians would host the Canton Golden Bears in the First Round of the New York State Class B Playoffs. The Golden Bears would jump out to a quick 15-8 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Golden Bears would expand on the lead with 16-4 quarters and have a 31-12 lead at intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Indians would regroup but the Golden Bears would still be to much and win the quarter 14-10 and take a 45-22 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Golden Bears would let of the throttle and cruise as the Indians win the quarter 11-7 although the Golden Bears would win the game 54-33. With the loss, the Peru Indians season would come to end. Gallery.

#1 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs #3 Peru Indians Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Basketball B Finals March 3rd 2018
Peru's Hunter Caron (5) with three from the corner over the outreached defender. The #1 Plattsburgh Hornets would take one the #3 Peru Indians for the Section VII Class B Championship. This would be a very tight game from start to finish and low scoring they would be tied at nine after the first quarter. In the second quarters the Indians would pull ahead with a 9-3 quarter for the 18-12 lead at intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Hornets would fight to get back in the game winning the quarter 10-8 Indians would still lead 26-22 into the fourth quarter. In the fourth the Hornets would not give in and even take the lead with under a minute left just for the Indians to take the lead back and the Indians would get the 32-38 victory. With the win the Peru Indians advance to the New York State Tournament. Gallery

#1 Ticonderoga Sentinels Vs #2 N.A.C. Bobcats Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Basketball C Finals March 3rd 2018
Ticonderoga's Ethan Thompson (14) takes up strong on the putback for the score. The #1 Ticonderoga Sentinels would take on the #2 N.A.C. Bobcats in the Championships of Section VII Class C. The Sentinels would race out to an early lead at 16-7 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, they would increase the lead with a 16-10 quarter for a 32-17 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter they would extend the lead with a 9-6 quarter for 41-23 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats would do there best to get back in it winning the quarter 15-11. Although it wouldn't be enough as the Sentinels would get the 52-41 victory and advance to the New York State Tournament. Gallery

The Ticonderoga Sentinels pose for there team photo as they crowned the 2018 Section VII Class C Champions. The #1 Ticonderoga Sentinels would take on the #2 N.A.C. Bobcats in the Championships of Section VII Class C. The Sentinels would race out to an early lead at 16-7 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, they would increase the lead with a 16-10 quarter for a 32-17 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter they would extend the lead with a 9-6 quarter for 41-23 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats would do there best to get back in it winning the quarter 15-11. NYS Class B Quarterfinals: Northeastern Clinton Cougars Vs #20 Canton Golden Bears March 11th 2017
Northeastern Clinton's Nicholas Duffy (15) with the off-balance lay up for the score. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would meet up with the #20 Canton Golden Bears in NYS Class B Quarterfinals. The Cougars would jump off to a quick start and have a 19-8 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, the teams would play even ball as the Bears win the quarter 16-15 although the Cougars would have a 34-24 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be a totally different game as the Bears win the quarter 14-4 and tie the game at 38 going into the fourth.
