The #1 Moriah Vikings would square off with the #2 Crown Point Panthers for the Section VII Class D Championship. The Vikings would cruise out to the early lead at 18-9 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as they win the quarter 18-17 to have a 36-26 lead at intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter 19-18 to have the 57-44 lead headed to the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Vikings would pull away and get the easy win with a 23-10 quarter and secure the 80-54 victory.
