The Beekmantown squad pose for there team photo with the trophy as they are crowned the 2014 Section VII Champions for the second straight year. The #1 Lake Placid Blue Bombers would lock horns with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles with the Section VII title on the line. The Blue Bombers would get the first goal of the game at the 13:21 mark of the first on Chris Williams goal to make it 1-0 Blue Bombers. The game would stay there till 8:17 of the second period when Connor Preston would score for the Blue Bombers and make it a 2-0 lead. The Eagles would get on the board at the 12:27 mark of the second on Nathan Fosters goal to cut the defect to 2-1. The game would stay there till the 2:51 mark of the third when Nathan Foster would have his second of the game to tie the game at 2. Beekmantown's Matt LaClair would give the Eagles the 3-2 lead with the wrister from the left faceoff circle at 10:35. The Eagles would extend the lead to 4-2 on Josh Barriere wrister through the screen. Then just 25 seconds later Nathan Foster would finish off the hat trick and secure the 5-2 victory. In the winning effort, Dustin Plumadore would stop 20 on the night as the Eagles advance to New York State Tournament and take on Pelham. Gallery

St. Lawerence's Stephaine Peets (1) spares out and stops the puck with the blocker as Lake Placid's Samantha Barney (10) came in on the breakaway. The St. Lawerence Larries would host the Lake Placid Blue Bombers in Malone in Girls Hockey as part of the schools joined the team. The game would be a great competition as the two teams were evenly matched. The game would remain scoreless until 5 minutes into the second period when Lake Placid's Brooke Reid would light the lamp to give the Blue Bombers the 1-0 lead. That is where the game would remain until the last few seconds of the game when Lake Placid's Brooke Ried would score again in the empty net to secure the 2-0 win. With the lose the Larries fall to 0-3 on the season. In the losing effort, Stephaine Peets would have 26 saves. Gallery

The upset-minded Lake Placid Blue Bombers would be taken out of there game early and the Chateaugay Bulldogs would get the easy straight-sets to win in just over an hour. The scores of the three games are 25-12 25-16 25-10. With the win the Bulldogs go to 20-0 on the season and will travel to Gloversville on November 9 to take on Waterford for the right to go the final four. Gallery

Start Baird(11), Blue Bombers, scored at 8:16 in the 1st assisted by Nzoni Thompson(8). Alex Brandes(13), Blue Bombers, scored at 16:23 in the 1st assisted by Shane McNierney. Ryan Davis(17), Eagles, scored at 32:37 in the 1st. Pat Kane(6), Blue Bombers, scored at 33:14 in the 2nd assisted by Stuart Baird(11). The Eagles had 7 shots on goal, 9 saves, 1 corner kick, 0 fouls, and 0 offsides. The Blue Bombers had 9 shots on goal, 7 saves, 11 corner kicks, 0 fouls, and 0 offsides. This would be the final regular-season home game for the Eagles. The half time ceremony is available in the store.

The Malone Huskies would come short in there home opener losing 6-0 to the Plattsburgh Hornets in nondivision action. The Plattsburgh Hornets would get two-goal in each period for the win.
