The Beekmantown squad pose for there team photo with the trophy as they are crowned the 2014 Section VII Champions for the second straight year. The #1 Lake Placid Blue Bombers would lock horns with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles with the Section VII title on the line. The Blue Bombers would get the first goal of the game at the 13:21 mark of the first on Chris Williams goal to make it 1-0 Blue Bombers. The game would stay there till 8:17 of the second period when Connor Preston would score for the Blue Bombers and make it a 2-0 lead. The Eagles would get on the board at the 12:27 mark of the second on Nathan Fosters goal to cut the defect to 2-1. The game would stay there till the 2:51 mark of the third when Nathan Foster would have his second of the game to tie the game at 2. Beekmantown's Matt LaClair would give the Eagles the 3-2 lead with the wrister from the left faceoff circle at 10:35. The Eagles would extend the lead to 4-2 on Josh Barriere wrister through the screen. Then just 25 seconds later Nathan Foster would finish off the hat trick and secure the 5-2 victory.
