The Malone Huskies would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in nonleague action as there home opener. The game would remain scoreless until the last minute of the first period when the Huskies would make it 1-0 on Jordan Schrafs goal. The game would stay there till the 6-minute mark of the second period when Hornet's Devin Clarke would score to make it 1-1. The Huskies would regain the lead at 2-1 on Evan Keegan's goal at 12:59 of the second period. Then at 2:57 of the third period Huskies, Kyler Head would make it 3-1 with a shorthanded goal. Then at the 8:42 mark of the third, the Hornet's would do there best to get back in the game with a power-play goal by Andrew Bechard to make it 3-2. Although it wouldn't be enough and from there the Huskies would hold on for the 3-2 victory. In the winning effort, Malone's Joey Brown makes 28 saves and the Huskies go to 1-0 on the season. Then at the 8:42 mark of the third, the Hornet's would do there best to get back in the game with a power-play goal by Andrew Bechard to make it 3-2. Although it wouldn't be enough and from there the Huskies would hold on for the 3-2 victory. In the winning effort, Malone's Joey Brown makes 28 saves and the Huskies go to 1-0 on the season. The #1 Lake Placid Blue Bombers would lock horns with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles with the Section VII title on the line. The Blue Bombers would get the first goal of the game at the 13:21 mark of the first on Chris Williams's goal to make it 1-0 Blue Bombers. The game would stay there till 8:17 of the second period when Connor Preston would score for the Blue Bombers and make it a 2-0 lead. The Eagles would get on the board at the 12:27 mark of the second on Nathan Foster's goal to cut the defect to 2-1. The game would stay there till the 2:51 mark of the third when Nathan Foster would have his second of the game to tie the game at 2. Beekmantown's Matt LaClair would give the Eagles the 3-2 lead with the wrister from the left faceoff circle at 10:35. The Eagles would extend the lead to 4-2 on Josh Barriere wrister through the screen. Then just 25 seconds later Nathan Foster would finish off the hat trick and secure the 5-2 victory. The #1 Lake Placid Blue Bombers would lock horns with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles with the Section VII title on the line. The Blue Bombers would get the first goal of the game at the 13:21 mark of the first on Chris Williams goal to make it 1-0 Blue Bombers. The Malone Huskies would be the underdog as they would host the #13 Norwood-Norfolk Icemen on Senior Night in Section X Division II action. The Icemen would get the opening goal at 5:46 of first on Kaden Pickering's goal. Then at the 10:28 mark of the first, the Icemen would make it 2-0 on Jeff Mott's goal. Then just over a minute later the Huskies would cut the lead in half at 2-1 on Jake Schraf's goal. Then just 1:47 into the second the Huskies would tie the game at two on Tucker Bartenslager's goal. Then starting at 9:49 the Icemen would get three goals in two minutes to make it a 5-2 game on goals from Zeb Brown, Kaden Pickering (second of night), and Coby Munson. Then just 1:47 into the third Bailey Conklin would score to make it 5-3 game. Then just over three minutes later Bailey Conklin would score again to make it a one-goal game at 5-4. Then at 6:04 Kaden Pickering would strike again and complete the hat trick and make it a 6-4 game. Then with just over a minute left the Icemen would get an empty netter from Zeb Brown (second of the night) for the 7-4 Icemen win. In the losing effort, the Huskies goaltenders would combine for 25 saves as the Huskies fall to 6-13-1 on the season. The Huskies now move on to the sectional playoffs where they will host the Alexander Bay/Thousand Island Islanders. Gallery.

The game would stay there till 12:23 of the period when Brandon Palmer would make it 2-0 Icemen. Then in the final minute of the first period, Johan Eksing would score for the Huskies on the power play to make it 2-1. The Icemen would regain the two-goal lead at 3-1 2:30 into the second period on Zeb Brown's goal. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 at 8:40 on Shane Cryderman's goal. The Icemen would continue at the 13:17 mark and make it 5-1 on Austin Cousineau's goal. In the third period, it would be more of the same as the Icemen would score at 2:11 Coby Munson's second goal of the night to make it 6-1. Then at 5:30 of the period, the Icemen would make it 7-1 on Tristen Harvey's goal. Then at 10:29, the Huskies would finally light the lamp again on Bailey Conklin's power-play goal to make it 7-2. Then just to finish it off Icemen's Zeb Brown would get his second of the night to secure the 8-2 victory. The game would stay there until 9:48 of the second when Larries Luckas Arrquiett's goal to make it 2-0. Then just over three minutes later the Larries would make it 3-0 on Nick Kowalchuk's goal. Then at 2:42 mark of the third period, Jake Henning would get the Huskies on the board at 3-1. Then 6:24 of the period Drew Rose would score his second of the night to secure the Larries 4-1 win. It would be a late-season matchup between the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and Plattsburgh Hornets wanting home ice in the first round. The Hornets would get the first goal of the game at the 10:19 mark of the first period from Andrew Becherd to make it 1-0 Hornets. The game would stay there until the 10:52 mark of the second period when Andrew Becherd would get his second of the night. Then just 15 seconds later the Cougars would get on the board to make it 2-1 on the Dayton Roberts goal. The game would stay there till 9:14 of the third when Kurtis Olsen would make it 3-1 Hornets. Then at the 1435 mark, Andrew Becherd would finish off the hat trick and make it 4-1. In the losing effort, Ryan Roberts would make 37 saves as the Cougars fall to 5-10 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown's Kyle Constantly (44) puts the puck in on the short side for one of his two goals on the night. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would match up with #10 Beekmantown Eagles in Section VII action at the Plattsburgh State Field House. The Cougars would show no fear as they would get the opening goal from Jordan Lemere at 2:58 of the first. The Eagles would come back and tie the game up at the 8:18 mark of the first on Kyle Constantly first of the night. Then with under two minutes left in the first Cougars, Dayton Roberts would give his team the 2-1 lead headed into intermission. The Eagles would tie the game up at two on Nathan Foster's goal at 4:38. The Eagles would take the first lead of the game at 7:39 on Brendan Davison's goal to make it 3-2. The Eagles would extend the lead to 4-2 at 11:09 on Brandon Buksa's first goal of the night. Then in the final seconds of the second period, Brandon Buksa would score his second of the night for the 5-2 Eagles lead. Then just 1:20 into the third period the Eagles would make it 6-2 on Kyle Constantly second goal of the night. Then just 12 seconds later Ryan Waterbury would make it 7-2. Then the Eagles Nathan Foster would get his second of the game at 2:40 to finish off the scoring and secure the Eagles 8-2 win.
