The Blue Bombers would get the first goal of the game at the 13:21 mark of the first on Chris Williams's goal to make it 1-0 Blue Bombers. The game would stay there till 8:17 of the second period when Connor Preston would score for the Blue Bombers and make it a 2-0 lead. The Eagles would get on the board at the 12:27 mark of the second on Nathan Foster's goal to cut the defect to 2-1. The game would stay there till the 2:51 mark of the third when Nathan Foster would have his second of the game to tie the game at 2. Then with just over a minute left in the first Cam Morgan would cut the Huskies lead in half at 2-1. The Huskies would quickly regain the two-goal lead at 1:25 of the second on Kyler Head's second goal of the game at 3-1. Then at 6:10 of the second Jake Henning would extend the Huskies lead to 4-1. In the third period, the Islanders would try and get back in the game at 8:44 on a short-handed goal by Garrett Denny to make it 4-2 and that's where the game would finish. The Shamrocks would break the ice and get the opening goal from Tye Terrance at 2:12 mark for the early lead. The Huskies would answer back at the 6:03 mark of first to tie the game at one Trevor Cooley's goal. That is where the game would stay all the way until 4:40 mark of the third when the Shamrocks would take the 2-1 lead on Sean David's goal. The Shamrocks would extend the lead to 3-1 on Sean David's second goal of the night. Then to finish it off for good measure Salmon River's Chad George would score with under three minutes left to secure the 4-1 win.
