The Northern Adirondack Bobcats would meet up with the Madrid Waddington Yellow Jackets in the first round of the New York State Class C basketball championships. The Bobcats would jump out to the quick 16-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bobcats would extend there lead by winning the quarter 11-6 and have a 27-15 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as the Bobcats win the quarter 13-6 and have a 40-21 lead. In the fourth quarter the Bobcats would step back a bit and the Jackets would win the quarter 15-6. Although the Northern Adirondack Bobcats would hold on for the 46-36 victory and advance to the quarterfinals. Gallery

Northern Adirondack's Paige Chilton (31) backs downs Madrid Waddington's Kellie Tiernan (11) for the basket as part of a game-high 18 points. The Northern Adirondack Bobcats would meet up with the Madrid Waddington Yellow Jackets in the first round of the New York State Class C basketball championships. The Bobcats would jump out to the quick 16-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bobcats would extend there lead by winning the quarter 11-6 and have a 27-15 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as the Bobcats win the quarter 13-6 and have a 40-21 lead. In the fourth quarter the Bobcats would step back a bit and the Jackets would win the quarter 15-6. The Beekmentown Eagles would meet up with the Salmon River Shamrocks in the NYS Division II Quarterfinals with the winner going to the final four. The game would remain scoreless until the 5:22 mark of the second period when Josh McCaulley would score for the Eagles to make it 1-0. The Shamrocks would tie the game up at 1 at the 11:35 mark of the second period. That is where the game would stay until the 2:22 mark of double when Beekmantown's Cade Collins would score the game winner off the face off for the 2-1 victory. In the winning effort Cole Harvey would save 24 as the Eagles go to the final four to face St Lawerence. Gallery

In the third quarter, The Bobcats would win it slightly 10-9 but still trail 37-35 heading to the fourth. In the fourth quarter, Ticonderoga would pull away and win the quarter 14-8 and get the 51-43 victory. The Cardinals would jump out to the 5-3 lead after the first quarter on goals from Billy Moller, Ryan Callahan (2), Jake Carroll, and Ryan Hubbard. In the second quarter, the Cardinal offense would step up and win the quarter 7-1 on goals from Ryan Callahan (2), Ryan Hubbard (4) and Ryan Ehli for the 12-4 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Spartans would do there best to make it a game and win the quarter 3-2 scoring for the Cardinals was Austin Belz and Brad Johnson and take a 14-7 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would put the finishing touches on the game with a 6-0 quarter with goals from Jake Carroll, Mike Gay, Austin Belz, Sean Alder, Logan Lamothe, and EJ Suris for the 20-7 victory.
