Northeastern Clinton's (20) with the wrap around goal in the third period in traffic. It would be the #3 Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the #6 Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Section VII Division II Quarterfinals. The game would remain scoreless until the last minute of the first period when Plattsburgh's when Kurtis Olsen would light the lamp to make it 1-0. Then in the second period the Hornets would add another two more goals to make it a 3-0 game after the second period. Then just 2:30 into the third the Cougars would look to make it a game as Dayton Roberts would score to make it 3-1. Although the Hornets would answer right back with four of there own to make it 7-1 Hornets lead. The Cougars would get another one late but it wouldn't be enough as the Hornets get the 7-2 win. In the winning effort the Plattsburgh Hornets advance to the Semi-Finals where they get the waiting Beekmantown Eagles. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Connor Gorman (11) with the goal on the break out to complete the natural hat trick in the first period. It would be the #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting the Brockport State Eagles on Throwback Jersey night in SUNYAC play. The Cardinals would answer with the first goal of the night at the 10:30 mark on Connor Gorman's goal. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on Connor Gorman's second goal of the night at 13:56. Then at the 15:34 mark of James Ryan would score on the power play for the Eagles to make it 2-1. Then at the 17:11 mark of the period, the Cardinals would go back up by 2 as Connor Gorman would finish off the natural hat trick and make it 3-1. Then at the 18:44 mark of the period, Alex Brenton would score on the power play to make it 4-1 after the first period. In the second period, the Eagles would get the lone goal at 10:48 on the power play from James Ryan for the second of the night. Then at the 12:38 mark of the third period, James Ryan would finish off the hat trick on the power play to make it 4-3. From then on the Cardinal's defense would tighten up and hold on for the 4-3 victory. In the winning effort, the Cardinals go to 14-4-1 on the season as Brady Rouleau would make 21 saves in the winning effort. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Giovanni Sense (20) with the goal to the top shelf over the goalie's pad. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers in ECAC West action at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Cardinals would take the early lead at 5:29 of the first period on the Melissa Ames goal to make it 1-0. Them at the 13:59 mark of the first period Giovanna Sense would put it top shelf to make it 2-0 Cardinals. The game would remain there all the way til 1:42 of the third period Kayla Meneghin would score on the wrap-around goal to make it 3-0. Then at 15:54 of the third period, Kayla Meneghin would get her second of the night to secure the 4-0 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 20 saves in shutout victory as the Cardinals go to 14-0-2 on the season. Gallery

#9 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Potsdam State Bears January 23 2015

Plattsburgh State's Connor Toomey (13) with a backhanded goal on the breakaway to increase the Cardinals lead. It would be #9 Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting north country rival Potsdam State as SUNYAC play would resume. The Bears would get the game started with the 1-0 lead at 11 minutes of the first period on the Zack Blakes goal. Although the lead would be short-lived as the Cardinals would tie it up 42 seconds later on Connor Gorman's goal. The game would stay there till 4:14 of the second period when Anthony Calabrese would score to make it 2-1 Cardinals. Although the Bears would not give up and battle back to tie it up at 2 on Jake Rivera's goal. Then with just under two minutes remaining Pattsburgh's Connor Gorman would score for the second time to make it 3-2 Cardinals. Then in the third period Cardinals, Alex Brenton would score at 3:08 to make it 4-2 Cardinals. Then in the 13-minute mark of the period Alex Brenton would score again to make it 5-2. Then in the final minute of the game, Connor Toomey would come on the breakaway and score on the backhand to secure the 6-2 victory. Chateaugay's Rachel Young (3) with the tight defense at midcourt on Brushton-Moria's Alexis Poirier (25). It would be a battle of top 20 teams as the #19 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #18 Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. It would be a battle between a couple rivals and the Bulldogs would have the 12-7 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, Bulldogs would continue to control the game and win the quarter 18-10 and have a 30-17 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Panthers would start clawing there way back and win the quarter 11-7 although the Bulldogs would still lead 37-28. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would put the clamps down on the Panthers and win the quarter 21-10 and get the 58-38 victory. In the winning effort, Danielle Charland would lead the way with 19 points as the Bulldogs go 8-1 on the season. Gallery.

Honeybadgers' Quenton Barber (8) with the catch in the back of the endzone to get the touchdown and win as time expires. It would be week 8 of the Indoor Flag Football League as the #10 Plattsburgh Honeybadgers would meet up with the #14 Plattsburgh Mod Squad in a late-season tilt. It would be a game that would be the tale of two halves as the Mod Squad would have a 42-19 lead at the break. In the second half, the Honeybadgers would slowly start making their comeback and win the half 36-12 and get the 55-54 win on a last-second touchdown by Quenton Barber. With the win, the Honeybadgers finish the regular season at 4-4 while the Mod Squad is 2-6. Gallery.

CR Tunes & Photography's Jordan Gillespie (17) goes up high in the corner to get the deflection over Westside Ballroom's Matt Hughey to save the score. It would be Week 8 of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football and we would have a battle between the #4 CR Tunes & Photography Raptors and #6 Westside Ballroom. It would be a very evenly tight first half as teams were feeling each other out and Westside Ballroom would have the slight 23-22 lead at the break. In the second half, the Raptors would find their traction and get control of the game win the second half 32-20 and gain the 54-43 victory. In the winning effort, the CR Tunes Raptors would finish the regular season at 7-1 while the West Side Ballroom drops to 6-1 with one game remaining. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Xavier Thomas (15) with the ally up slam on the perfect pass. It would be a battle of SUNYAC Conference foes as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Cortland State Red Dragons at Memorial Hall. The game would be tight all the way throughout the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would have the offense working in the first half as they would have the 28-24 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be flipped and the Dragons would win the half 31-27 to force overtime with the game locked at 55. In the extra minutes, the Red Dragons would be to much for the Cardinals as they win it 13-10 and get the 68-65 victory. In the losing effort, Reggie Williams would lead all scorers with a game-high 22 points as the Cardinals fall to 9-4 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Patrick Hermans (5) with one of his three goals on the night on the scramble at the net. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with #13 Williams Ephs in a nonconference battle between the top 15 teams at the Feild House. The Ephs would take the quick 1-0 lead on Craig Kitto's goal just 1:17 into the first period. Then the Ephs would extend the lead to 2-0 Dan Doherty's goal at 9:23 of the first period. Then at the 12:38 mark of the first period, Craig Kitto would get his second of the night to make it 3-0 Ephs after the first period. Then at the 3:42 mark of the second period, the Ephs would pick up where they left off and Craig Kitto would finish off the hat trick to make 4-0 Ephs. Then at the 7:11 mark of the second period, David Itlianio would make it 5-0 Ephs. Then finally at 14:32 mark of the second period, the Cardinals would get on the board with Patrick Hermans to make it 5-1 Ephs. Although before the period ended the Ephs would regain the five-goal lead at 6-1 on Greg Johnson's goal. In the final period, the Cardinals would try to make a game of it as Patrick Hermans would score twice to make it 6-3 and finish of the hat trick. As the Williams Ephs would get the 6-3 victory as the Cardinals fall to 12-4-2 on the season. Gallery.

It would be a SUNYAC Conference battle between foes Plattsburgh State and Cortland State at Memorial Hall. The first half would go back and forth through out and the Cardinals would have the slim 29-27 lead at the break. When the teams back for the second half the Red Dragons would step up there offensive game and would win the half 38-27 and get the 65-56 victory. In the losing effort for the Cardinals Devona Pual would lead the way with 15 ponts as the Cardinals fall to 6-7 on the season. Gallery.
