The Cardinals would take there time getting going in the first half as the Golden Knights would work there a way to a ten-point lead in the first five minutes. Then the Cardinals would find their stride and work it to a ten-point lead at the break at 44-34. Then in the second half, the Cardinals would keep there a game going and win the half 39-33 and cruise to the 83-67 victory. It would be a battle of SUNYAC Conference foes as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Cortland State Red Dragons at Memorial Hall. The game would be tight all the way throughout the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would have the offense working in the first half as they would have the 28-24 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be flipped and the Dragons would win the half 31-27 to force overtime with the game locked at 55. In the extra minutes, the Red Dragons would be to much for the Cardinals as they win it 13-10 and get the 68-65 victory. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oneonta State Red Dragons in SUNYAC conference play. It would be a hotly contested game through with neither team getting more than a five-point lead. The Red Dragons would have the slim 41-37 lead-in after the first. In the second half, the Cardinals would make up the difference winning the half 47-43 to force overtime tied at 84. In the overtime, the Red Dragons would hit a 2 pointer with 2.4 seconds left to win it 94-92.
