Champlain Valley Baseball League Peabody Padres Vs Adam's Glass Dodgers June 4 2015

Peabody's Shane Perrotte (2) slides under the tag at home plate to extend there lead. It would be a mid-week battle between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers at the Lefty Wilson field. The Padres would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first inning. They would another run in the third inning to make it 2-0. Then in the fourth inning, the Dodgers would get on the board but the Padres would two more runs to make it 4-1. Then in the sixth, both teams would score again the Dodgers would get another single run while the Padres would add three and make it 7-2. The Padres would go on to win by that 7-2 margin and improve to 7-1 on the season. Gallery

Peabody's Shane Perrotte (2) slides in safe at the plate a head of the tag of the dodgers catcher for the game-winning run. We would have a mid-week game in Champlain Valley Baseball League action to start week four of the season between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers. The Dodgers would get the early lead 1-0 after the first inning. They would add a pair of runs in the second to make it a 3-0 lead. At the bottom of the third, the Padres would get on the board to make it 3-1. Then in the fourth, the Padres would have a big inning plating four runs to take the 5-3 lead. Then in the fifth the Dodgers would get one to make it 5-4 game. Then in the sixth, they would get two runs to regain the 6-5 lead. Then in the bottom of the seventh, the padres would get two including the game-winning head first slide by Shane Perrotte at the plate to get the 7-6 victory. In the winning effort, Matt Rivers would go the distance for the victory as the Padres go to 6-1 on the season. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Baseball: Saranac Chiefs (JV) Vs Beekmantown Eagles (JV) May 18 2015

Saranac's Hunter Williams (5) with the tag at second to get them would-be base stealer. It would be the last JV game of the season and it would match up the Saranac Chiefs and the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would jump out to an 8-1 lead after the fourth inning. Then the Chiefs would slowly start crawling there way back into the game as they would get a couple in the fifth to make it 8-3. Then in the sixth, they would great three more to make it 8-6. Unfortunately though the rain would start coming and hard and the game would be called after the sixth inning to give the Eagles the 8-6 victory. Gallery

SUNYAC Baseball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #1 Cortland State Red Dragons April 25 2014

Plattsburgh State's Andrew Kramer (27) with the release of the fastball for the strikeout. It would be the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the #1 Cortland State Red Dragons in the last of a three-game set. It would not be another good day on the field for the Cardinals. They would actually get the 1-0 lead in the first inning. The lead would last till the fourth inning when the Red Dragons would explode with six runs and take a 6-1 lead. They would add one in the fifth and two in the ninth to secure the 9-1 victory. With the loss the Cardinals would get a sweep on the weekend and drop to 12-20 on the season. Gallery

SUNYAC Baseball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #1 Cortland State Red Dragons April 24th 2014

Plattsburgh State's Chris Perscetti (44) with the reception at first for the close out. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #1 Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC doubleheader action. It would not be a very good day for the Cardinals. In the first game, the Red Dragons would score multiple runs in seven of the nine innings. The best inning for the Cardinals would be the ninth when they would score four runs in the inning. With that being said the Red Dragons would cruise to the 25-8 victory in game one of the doubleheader. In the second game of the doubleheader the Red Dragons would get one in the first, three in the second, and one in the sixth and seventh to secure the 6-0 win. With the Cardinals getting sweep they would fall to 12-19 on the season. Gallery
