The Padres would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first inning. They would another run in the third inning to make it 2-0. Then in the fourth inning, the Dodgers would get on the board but the Padres would two more runs to make it 4-1. Then in the sixth, both teams would score again the Dodgers would get another single run while the Padres would add three and make it 7-2. We would have a mid-week game in Champlain Valley Baseball League action to start week four of the season between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers. The Dodgers would get the early lead 1-0 after the first inning. They would add a pair of runs in the second to make it a 3-0 lead. At the bottom of the third, the Padres would get on the board to make it 3-1. Then in the fourth, the Padres would have a big inning plating four runs to take the 5-3 lead. Then in the fifth the Dodgers would get one to make it 5-4 game. Then in the sixth, they would get two runs to regain the 6-5 lead. Then in the bottom of the seventh, the padres would get two including the game-winning head first slide by Shane Perrotte at the plate to get the 7-6 victory.
