Plattsburgh State's Camille Leonard (31) with the glove save as part of a 28 save night. It would be the quarterfinals of the NCAA Women's Hockey Division III Tournament. The Cardinal's and Shannon Stewart would get on the board first at the 7:14 mark of the first period to make it 1-0 Cardinals. The game would stay there all the way till the third period when the Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on Mellisa Sheeran's power-play goal at the 8:06 mark of the period. The Cardinals would make it a 3-0 game on Bridget Bailey's goal at 10:06. The Tommies would get on the board at the 12:28 mark of the period on a power-play goal by Tori Bailey to make it 3-1. In the final minute of the game, the Cardinals would add an empty netter on Giovanna Senese's goal to secure the 4-1 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 28 saves as they advance to the Frozen Four. Gallery

ECAC West Women's Hockey #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Oswego State Lakers January 24 2015

Plattsburgh State's Camille Leonard (22) with the pad save to keep the Lakers off the board. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers in ECAC West action at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Cardinals would take the early lead at 5:29 of the first period on the Melissa Ames goal to make it 1-0. Them at the 13:59 mark of the first period Giovanna Sense would put it top shelf to make it 2-0 Cardinals. The game would remain there all the way til 1:42 of the third period Kayla Meneghin would score on the wrap-around goal to make it 3-0. Then at 15:54 of the third period Kayla Meneghin would get her second of the night to secure the 4-0 victory. In the winning effort Camille Leonard would make 20 saves in shutout victory as the Cardinals go to 14-0-2 on the season. Gallery
