It would be week four of the C.V.A.C. season and the Ausable Valley Patriots would travel to the Peru Indians. The Patriots would take the 7-0 lead with 4:25 left in the first quarter on Brandon Snow's catch in the corner of the end zone. The Patriots would extend the lead to 13-0 on Brandon Snow's second touchdown of the day with 2:05 left in the half. That would be all the Patriots would need as the teams would go scoreless in the second half as the Patriots would hold on for the 13-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Patriots go to 2-2 while the Indians fall to 1-3 on the season. Gallery

NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Cardinal Classic Championship Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #13 Neuman Knights December 31st 2016

Plattsburgh State's Pat Egan (16) with the quicker wrister on net as he breaks in on the net. It would be the championship of the Cardinal Classic featuring the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and #13 Neumann Knights. The game would not start off good for the Cardinals as they gave one first period goal and trail 1-0 after the first period. In the second period, it would get worse as they gave up three goals and trail 4-0 after two periods. The Cardinals would finally get on the board in the third period on Jesse Neher's goal to make it 4-1. Although the Knights would answer back with three goals of there own and secure the 7-1 victory. In the losing effort, Joshua Davies would make 20 saves as the Cardinals fall to 6-6 on the season. Gallery

The Garnets would not take long to take control of the game as they would score twice in the first period for the 2-0 lead. In the second period they would add one more to extend there lead to 3-0. In the third period, the Rye offense would open up with three goals. The Eagles would give up some fight they would add a goal from Matthew Maggy. Saranac's Griffin Williams (3) with the three from the corner. It would be season opener in the CVAC for both the Saranac Cheifs and the Plattsburgh Hornets. This would be a game that the Plattsburgh Hornets would dominate from start to finish. The Hornets would have a 20-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Hornets would win the quarter 19-13 and take a 39-22 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the third quarter it would stay Hornets game as they win the quarter 26-12 and lead the game 65-34. The Hornets would go into coast mode in the fourth quarter and the Cheifs would win the quarter 15-13. Although the Hornets would cruise to the 78-49 victory as the Hornets go to 1-3 while the Cheifs fall to 0-5 on the season. Gallery
