The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would meet up with the top team in the state the Pelham Pelicans as part of the Beekmantown Holiday Tournament. The teams would be equal throughout the first period as they would trade goals to and be tied at 1 after the first period. In the second period, the Pelicans would show why they are the number 1 team in the state as they would score four goals and extend there lead to 5-1. In the third period, they would continue and put the icing on the cake with two more goals. With that, the Cougars would fall to the Pelicans 7-1 and fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery
