Saranac's Dylan Clay (17) goes low and makes the tackle on the legs of Peru's Brian Stewart (38). The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in Week 7 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Indians offense would be in form as they would take the 14-0 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as they would extend the lead to 29-0. In the second half it would be more of the same as they would outscore them 22-0 and get the 51-0 win. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would finish off the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs would finish at 2-5. Gallery.

Saranac's Johnny Devins (22) sheds off the tackle along the wing for the first down. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in JV action. The Saranac Chiefs would take the 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a Johnny Devins rushing touchdown. Then in the second quarter, the Peru Indians offense would start to click as they would get two scores to take the 14-6 lead into the break. Then when the teams came back for the second half they would pick up where they left off getting another score in the third to make it 20-6. Then in the fourth quarter, they would get one more to put it away and secure the 26-6 victory. With the win, the Peru Indians go to 1-6 while the Saranac Chiefs fall to 0-7. Gallery.

Chateaugay's Catilin Miller (21) with the one-handed drop shot at the net for the Bulldogs point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Malone Huskies in Section X East Division action. This would also be senior night for the Bulldogs as there five seniors would be honored tonight before the game. As for the game itself, the Bulldogs would make quick and easy work of the Huskies winning the match in about 45 minutes in straight sets. The scores of the three games would be 25-5, 25-8, and 25-10. With the win, the Bulldogs would stay undefeated on the season at 14-0. Gallery.

Chateaugay's Zack Cowan (23) with the flying header off the corner kick that he sends just wide of the net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #10 Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in Section X East Division action. It would be a very physical game with both teams giving everything they had had going for the win in this late-season tilt. The Bulldogs would control most of the game. The lone goal of the game would come in the 48th minute from Parishville-Hopkinton's Chris Simmons to give the Panthers the 1-0 win. In the losing effort, the Bulldogs would still get credited with 10 shots on net while Bulldogs goalie Josh Trombley would make 3 saves on the net. Chateaugay's Katie Beach (7) and the Norwood-Norfolk defender ride arm to arm each other going for the loose ball along the end line. The #6 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X East Division action. The game would be played real even throughout the first to the point they would be tied at 0 at the half. In the second half, the Bulldogs would start to take control and take the 1-0 lead in the 41st minute on Katie Beach's goal. Then in the 71st minute, the Bulldogs would extend the lead to 2-0 on Katie Beach's second goal of the night and get the 2-0 victory. In the winning effort, Holly Zeldenrust would make 2 saves in the shutout victory as the Bulldogs to 12-1 on the season. Gallery.

Malianakas Masonry Austin Velie (3) with the leaping catch along the sidelines over Northeast's Mackenize Haskins (21) for the first down. It would be week five of the North Country Flag Football League as Malianakas Masonry would meet up with the Northeastern Monsters. It would be a game that Malianakas would control from start to finish where the Monsters would have a problem getting across midfield. When it was all said and done Malianakas Masonry would get the 25-0 win and go to 5-0 while the Monsters would fall to 0-5. Gallery

American Legion/SL Trucking Vs West Side Saints October 12 2014

American Legion's Chris Fish with the two-handed catch in the back of the end zone for the touchdown. The American Legion/SL Trucking and West Side Saints would meet up in week four of the North Country Flag Football League. The American Legion would come to play as they would have shut down defense and good passing offense and take the 21-0 lead at the half. In the second half, it would be more of the same as they would outscore them 22-0 and secure the 43-0 victory. In the winning effort, American Legion/SL Trucking would go to 4-1 on the season while the West Side Saints fall to 1-4. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs Vs Plattsburgh Hornets October 11 2014

Saranac's Hunter Church (33) stretches out for the touchdown to get the Chiefs on the board. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in the first-ever Saranac River Bowl. The Hornets would take the 6-0 lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter. The score would stay there till the third quarter when the Hornets would get a second rushing touchdown to make it 12-0. Then later in the third quarter the Chiefs would get on the board on a Hunter Church touchdown to make it 12-6. Then with about four minutes left in the game Caiden Goodman would catch a tipped ball in the end zone and tie the game up at 12. Then after a very short punt by the Hornets the Chiefs would get the ball back and George Miller would take it up the middle for the winning touchdown with under a minute for the 20-12 victory. In the winning effort, the Chiefs would improve there record 2-4 while the Hornets fall to 0-6 on the season. Gallery.

The Bulldogs would make quick work of the Panthers as they would win in straight sets in around thirty minutes. Chateaugay's Josh Trombly (1) with the sliding kick save on Madrid Waddington's John Lenny (21) on the breakaway attempt. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the #13 Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in Section X East Division action. The Yellow would wast no time in taking advantage and scoring a goal on John Lenny's goal 42 seconds into the game to make it 1-0. Then in the 5th minute John Lenny would score again to make it 2-0. Then in the 13th minute, the Bulldogs would get on the board as Zack Cowan would score to make it 2-1 Yellow Jackets. From there on the rain and the good defenses would clamp down on the game and the Yellow Jackets would get the 2-1 victory. In the losing effort, Josh Trombly would make four saves on the night as the Bulldogs fall to 8-3 on the season. Gallery.
