It would be a game that would see both teams have trouble getting there offenses going. The game would eventually need overtime as they went into extra period still tied at zero. In the extra period, Tevin Conners for the West Side Saints would make in an interception in the endzone that he would return for the game-winning score to get the 6-0 victory. The American Legion would come to play as they would have shut down defense and good passing offense and take the 21-0 lead at the half. The West Side Saints would take a slim 7-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, the teams would trade scores and the West Side Saints would secure the 14-6 victory. In the second half, both team's defense would step up and shut down the offenses with some assistance from the wind as there would be no scoring in the second half.
