With the Huskies having to play an earlier match against Potsdam and a long first game the freshness of the Bulldogs would come into play. With the win the Bulldogs perfect season continues at 19-0. The #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs would play #2 Edwards-Knox Cougars in Section X Class D Championship at Massena High School. The Bulldogs would need four games to get the championship 25-16, 25-8, 19-25, 25-20. With the victory the Bulldogs have won there eight straight championships. The Malone Huskies would host the Chateaugay Bulldogs in a battle that would have the best two teams in Section X's action. This would be a five-setter that would have some very intense moments and the crowd was pulling for there teams. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would get the win over the Malone Huskies but they would need all five sets (25-18, 15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-15). This would be the final home game of the regular season for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs would end it in great fashion with the straight-sets victory 25-10, 25-14, 25-19. This years tournament would have seven teams between 6 schools (Saranac A & B, Chateaugay, Plattsburgh, Peru, Ogdensburg, and Northeastern Clinton). When it was all said and done the Chateaugay Bulldogs would win the tournament with a record of an 11-1 and Plattsburgh would be second at 10-2.
