Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 6 Saranac Chiefs Vs #15 Peru Indians October 5 2013

Saranac's (24) wraps up the legs and holds tight to bring down Peru's Ryan Lovely (11). The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in week 6 of the Champlain Valley Football League league season. It would be the battle of a couple of schools that just don't like each other and at times it would show. The Indians would strike first 3:30 on a fumble recovery in the endzone for a score to make it 7-0 Indians. Then at the 8-minute mark the Indians would score again this time hooking up with Zane Bazzano on a 45-yard pass to make it 14-0. The Chiefs would get on the broad just over a minute later on John Maye's touchdown run to make it 14-6. Then just three minutes into the second quarter the Indians would hit Bazzano again this time on a bomb to make it 20-6. Then just two minutes later it would be Bazzamo again to make it 27-6. Then as the first half would come to an end the Indians and Rivelino Hendricks would score from five yards out to make it 34-6 at the break. When the teams return for the second half it was more of the same as the Indians and Hendricks would score at the nine-minute mark to make it 41-6. From there on out the teams would cruise it on out. With the win, the Indians stay undefeated at 6-0 and the Chiefs fall to 2-4 on the season.

Chateaugay's Reid Laplante (2) within lose shot on net that is saved of the head of the St. Lawrence goalie Haiden St. Hilaire. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would battle the St. Lawrence Larries in Section X East Division action. The game would remain scoreless until the 34th minute when Nick Ashline would score on the header to give the Bulldogs the 1-0 lead assist to Chad Slater. The game would remain there until the 69th minute when Nick Ashline would score again for the Bulldogs this time hitting it off the crossbar and in to make 2-0 Bulldogs with the assist going to Seth Young. Then just two minutes later when Seth Young would score on the breakout to make it 3-0. The Larries would try to get back in the game with a goal just 20 seconds later on Matthew Frary to make it 3-1 but that's as far as they would get. The Bulldogs would hang on for the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would make one save. With the win, the Bulldogs would go to 8-2-1 on the season. Gallery

The Bulldogs would cruise to the three games to zero victories by scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-14. The Bulldog gets off to slow start but they pull it together and cross to the victory with solid team play as they go to 10-0 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Brady Monette (12) slides it around Chateaugay's Dylan Labare (15) and heads to the net for the shot. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Malone Huskies in Section X action. The Malone Huskies would get the scoring started in the 4th minute on Kody Mulverhill's goal to make it 1-0 Huskies. The game would remain there till the 30th minute when the Huskies would and Kody Mulverhill would score again and make it 2-0 Huskies. The Huskies would finish off the scoring in the 37th minute on Isiah Parendore's goal to give the Huskies the 3-0 win. In the winning effort, Malone's Austin Lamay would stop for in the shutout. As the Malone Huskies go to 6-3 and the Chateaugay Bulldogs fall to 6-2-1 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Katie Beah (7) pulls the ball back and goes around the defender and head to the net for the shot. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Lawrence in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead in the 10th minute on Brianna Cook's goal. Then in the 20th minute, Danielle Charland would score to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Then just two minutes later Danielle Charland would strike again to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 26th minute, Hannah Cook would get in action with a goal to end the first at 4-0 Bulldogs. In the 47th minute, the Larries would get on the broad to make it 4-1. The Larries would strike again in 70th minute to make it 4-2 Bulldogs. Although in the 72nd minute the Bulldogs would end comeback the Larries had as Rachel Young would score to make it 5-2 Bulldogs. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated on the season at 7-0-1. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Football Week 4 Beekmantown Eagles Vs Peru Indians September 28 2013

Beekmantown's Devin Fessette with the break up from behind on the pass attempt to Peru's Zane Bazzano. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Peru Indians in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference. The game would be close are the first quarter the teams trading touchdowns but the Indians would miss the extra point giving the Eagles the 7-6 at the end of one. Then in the second quarter, the Indians would get the only score and go for two to take a 14-7 lead into the break. Then the teams would come back for the second half they would be fired up and there would be more hard-hitting. The Indians would outscore the Eagles 22-7 thanks to some favorable officiating. The highlight of the day would come when each team would have a return for touchdown Zane Bazzano for the Indians and Cameron Garceau for the Eagles. With the win, the Indians stay undefeated at 4-0 as they head to Saranac next well the Eagles fall to 2-2 and are on the road at Moriah.

The Bulldogs would need about 90 minutes to take care of the Blue Devils. They would win the match in four games by scores of 25-13,25-17,19-25,25-13. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X action. The game would be a very physical contest with both teams jockeying for position. The Bulldogs would get on the broad first with Jordan Martin's goal in the 11th minute to make it 1-0. The Bulldogs would add another goal in the 36th minute from Chad Slater to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. From there on the Bulldogs hold the lead and get the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would stop seven shots in the shutout. With the win, the Bulldogs go to 5-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be a battle of the two remaining unbeaten teams and it would need all five games to have a winner. The Sandstoners would get the first 25-18. Then in second the Bulldogs would tie it back up with the 25-20 win. The Sandstoners would get the third game 25-16. Then the Bulldogs would put it together in the fourth and fifth with 25-15 and 25-9 wins to win the match. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 6-0. Gallery
