Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres Shane Perrotte (#2) slides in safe at third base after legging out the triple in the 2nd game of a doubleheader. The Padres would go on to win the second game 10-5 after giving up five runs in the 1st inning they would shut down the Expos the rest of the game. The Expos would win the 1st game 7-0 to gain the split. With that, the Expos and Padres remained tied for second at 9-5 with 4 games remaining in the regular season. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Star's Brandon Keleher (40) breaks down the field on a huge gain on the ground during the 1st quarter of Plattsburgh North Star's and Vermont Ravens game. The North Star's would continue there winning ways as they handily defeated the Ravens 25-7 to improve to 2-0. The game for the North Star's will be July 11th against the Broome County Dragons at 7:30 pm at the Plattsburgh High Athletic Complex in the Empire League season opener. Gallery

Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres Kyle Rock (#4) with the sliding catch in left field on a ball that was slicing towards the foul line. The Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres would continue their winning ways as of late in sweeping the Lyon Mountain Miners 9-4 & 13-7 and are now a four-game winning streak. With the win, the Padres moved into 2nd place just behind the Plattsburgh Cardinals. Gallery

The Plattsburgh North Star's started off their 2009 season by traveling down to Manchester Center, VT to lock horns with the Southern Vermont Storm. In a game that would remain scoreless until the 4th quarter and would see the North Star's pro vail with 12-7 win over a very scrappy Southern Vermont Storm squad. The North Stars will be back in action on June 27th against the Vermont Ravens at the Plattsburgh High Athletic Complex kickoff is 7:30. Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres would gain their first-weekend sweep of the season as they would take two from the Fourth Ward Timberjaxxs in Saranac at the Saranac High School.
