The undefeated #16 Plattsburgh North Stars traveled over to Watertown to take on the Watertown Red and Black in a game that could be a preview of the EFL Championship in mid-October. The Red and Black came in looking to avenge their loss last week to Quebec. In a game that was high in intensity and hard-hitting. It would be the Red and Black that would come away with the 21-0 win and now tied at the top EFL standings with the North Stars at 6-1. Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres vs Meron's/Renzi Expos August 16th 2009

The Meron's/Renzi Expos finished of Hockey Plus/Loreman's Padres with an 11-0 win in game 2 of the best of 3 series. With the win the Expos advance to the championship starting next weekend August 23rd at Lyon Mountain against the defending champion Miners. With the loss, the Padres season will come to end and will finish the year at 14-9 and will be looking to go after the championship next summer as most of the players will be returning. Essex County Fair Tractor Pull August 15th 2009

The Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers Association made there final stop on the 2009 campaign with the Tractor pull edition at the Essex County Fair in Westport, NY. There would be over 50 competitors from all northern new york and Vermont. With the season titles all but looked up before the event. The pullers were for bragging rights to say I won the last hook of the season and all the great fans at the fair. Essex County Fair Westport, NY Truck Pull August 13th 2009

The Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers Association returned to Westport, NY for the Essex County Fair Truck Pull. There would be five street legal classes along with two 4x4 truck classes. There would be a decent crowd all night long with many people coming and going throughout the show. Franklin County Fair Malone, NY Truck and Tractor Pull August 11th 2009

The annual truck and tractor pull returned to the Franklin County Fair in Malone, NY for there all-day show. There would be 23 different classes that would run until late at night. There were a few drivers that pushed their equipment just too far for the big crowd and have some breakage. The annual demolition derby returned to the Franklin County Fair in Malone, NY in front of another packed grandstand. There would be 90 cars that would take part in the second night of derby action. The good ole boys with the general lee cars would be champion. Pictured is car #15 that instead of hitting the other and moving on to the next one rides right down the side of the car. Gallery

The Hockey Plus/Loreman Padres took on the Meron/Renzi Expos in game 1 of the CVBL Semis in a game that the Expos would be in total control from the start. The Expos would cruise to an 18-2 win and take a 1-0 lead in the best of three series. Games two and three will be played August 16th starting at noon at a site still to be determined. The Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers returned to the Huntingdon Fair in Huntingdon, Que for the first time in over seven years. The crowd came out in full force to see the tractors and trucks take to the great hooking track. There were plenty of local competitors to give them some extra cheering power. Franklin County Field Days July 31st and August 1st 2009

The Adirondack Truck and Tractor Pullers Association return to Highgate, Vermont for their annual two-day show at the Franklin County Field Days. On Friday night it would be the truck with the 4x4 truck class and crowd favor street legal truck with an average of 20 in a class. Then on Saturday, it would be all day show with the tractors ranging from the farm stock all the way up to the pro stock class plus the Highgate tradition 4x4 tractor classes. Pictured is Joe Perreault (Mooers, NY) and his Mad Dog get a little too hot and had a quick oil fire when it ran down on the hot headers. Gallery
